In the short time that I’ve had this camera all I can say is wow. For me it was worth the price. I previously owned a Nikon D7500 and wanted to switch to a full frame mirrorless. The quality of the photos are phenomenal. It was a bit of a learning curve switching, but I feel like it’s fairly simple to use. I paired the body with a 24mm G master lens and I’m not disappointed with the results. I’m by no means a professional photographer. I’m a hobbyist so I’m sure there are more things for me to learn to fully utilize this 61mp beast. But for now I am getting great quality pictures. I really like the shortcut buttons feature and that you can save your settings depending on the scene you’re trying to shoot.

Auto focus is awesome. Better grip than my a7iii. I don't have any complaints.

Its a great camera once you get a hang of it, but if you are new to SONY cameras you will soon find out it takes much adjusting coming from brands that are more user friendly like Canon, Nikon, Leica or Fuji. In other words if you are already a SONY user yo can update the score to five stars. Im happy with it so far, but I still have a long way to be confortable with it and Im a professional with 30 years experience: Thats why my for stars could be three.

Before buying this camera I was a bit nervous, Coming from using the Canon T7 and Canon m50. Decided to give it a go and OMG!! I am super glad that I took the chance in buying it. I Love it so much with no regrets. I bought it with the Sony 50mm F1.8 and now I have the Sony 85mm F1.8 And I got the Sony Battery Grip.. Currently saving up for my next lens. The Sony G Master FE 16-35mm F2.8 Wide Angle Lens... You will love this camera...

Switching from Sony a7iii to the Sony a7Riv was a big step but besides twice the price my prints are AMAZING. 61 MP what more can I say!

Love this camera. The beat autofocus i have ever seen, so fast. The resolution in the market. I recommend this camera to photographers and hybrid shooter who wants decent video quality.

Really good camera , I never thought I would like colors in the Sony. Easy to work with this camera , there is 61 MP that is give you confidence while photo shoots. I love this camera , it’s big upgrade for me.

I own this and an a7iii. This camera is incredible. I love my a7iii and didn't think the a7r4 would wow me as much as it has. Here's some pros and cons Pros: locking dials, much better grip for people with big hands, buttons and joystick are improved, viewfinder is amazing, auto focus is insane and of course 61 mp Cons- this shouldn't be a surprise but some people don't think about it right away. The file sizes are huge so you'll need some fast writing memory cards if you shoot continous drive mode. The average card that writes at 250 or 300 mb/s is around 150 to 200 a piece. If you're buying this camera and aren't shooting one photo at a time, just be prepared to drop 350 to 400 on cards that can keep up with the camera. I highly recommend this camera

The creative mode is the best feature in this camera. But really all the features are high quality and autofocus is outstanding. Went from Canon Mark V because of B&W is super awesome.

Absolutely in love with this camera for photography. Yes the files are big but it’s 60 megapixels that’s to be expected. I decided to go this route because I needed a camera that produced images that could also be blown up big with no issues for certain clients. The AF is way better than it was on my Sony a7iii. I just wish I could enjoy the same low light video capabilities that I had with my a7iii. With the Sony a7iv coming out you may want to wait to make your best decision . As it will be awesome for photo and video .

I have come to expect flawless products from Sony and our new Sony A 7r IV camera definitely keeps this trend alive. Paired with Sony lens it is easy to use, feature rich and competitive with the finest full frame cameras on the market.

So far so good. This is my first high megapixel full frame camera and the images are so sharp. The resolution is unreal. I can hardly believe how much I can zoom in and not loose resolution.

Great for low light photos. Lot of new features and easy to get used to it even for a first time user. I used it for all types of photos and in all occasions all the photos came out phenomenal. I like the new lock on the dail and easy customizable shortcuts
