So, I studied camera after camera for what I wanted and the Sony a7s ii doesn’t disappoint. For film and pictures, it’s very customizable to click and go or do sit down portrait photography. I would highly recommend this camera if you are going to be filming more then taking pictures.

Bought this camera for freelance video production. It is everything it says it is! The Build is sturdy and easy on the hands. Easy controls and the ISO makes it where you can see even at night. Pictures are crisp and clear. So happy with my new camera!

The hype over this camera is all true. I am an amateur, but this product allows one to shoot and think like a pro. In fact, the complexity is part of the fun--to justify the expense one has to go deep into the camera's possibilities and that in itself raises the bar for the photographer.

I did months of research trying to figure out my first camera purchase. That research lead me to this camera. It fit my needs because I mostly record and if I am taking a picture it will be uploaded somewhere online and I don't need that many MPs. I take this every where I go and finally got the chance to shoot in a low light event and the video is still amazing. Do your research before purchasing and see if this is the camera for you. Big purchase for my first camera? Yes. Am I regretting it? No.

This camera is absolutely my favorite purchase of all time. It has every thing you need to be a well rounded photographer. The lenses offered by Sony only increase that premium and sharp quality you're looking for in your shoots! Cant wait for the Mark III

This is a great camera all around. The low light sensitivity is incredible!

Pricey. Yes. Quality, you will have trouble matching this camera. At least in the mirrorless world. Great for video, decent photography at 12 megapixels only but this camera is designed for video. If you want the photo quality one, get the Sony a7rii.

Bought the A7sii for my trip to Iceland, Italy and Greece. The 4k was amazing. And the lowlight performance was as advertised. Would recommend to anyone looking for. Mirrorless video camera

It's a great video camera - not the best for pictures if you are looking for a great resolution. For social media content it's amazing.

This gem is a beast both for photos as well as video. 4K video, the slow motion, the professional grade color profiles - one of the most comprehensive set of camera features in the market!

I've owned several Canon cameras, including the 5D series and I've officially converted to Sony. Excellent camera. Takes time to figure out menu, but the results are worth it.

The Sony Alpha series are amazing however, they are very few that are all around. This one is mainly video and does amazing work.

Great Camera for stills and video. Easy to travel with and many options for lens combinations. Low light video on the camera is amazing. Would recommend for a wide range of uses.

This was tough for me to buy, since it was my first camera purchase over $2000, but NO REGRETS. I've been putting the A7S to work the past year on countless freelance corporate shoots and guerrilla narrative/doc shoots and I am so impressed. 4K log never looked so good, even at night. I'm generating images that I didn't think I'd be able to for $2000. Lightweight, quiet operation, incredible resolution- you can't go wrong. I recently paired it up with Fujinon lenses and an atmos external recorder. Jaw dropped. No disappointment here

I purchase this camera for my 20 year old son and he loves it. He started his own business with it. It shoots the best videos ever. The clarity is unbelievable.
