This is by far my favorite lens. I use to use a 50mm for my studio work but this 35mm GM has definitely changed that.

The quality on the lens is insane, I have it paired with a Sony A7iii and have 0 regrets on the big purchase. I mainly use this set up indoors and no matter if its well lit or low light, this thing performs amazing. The auto focus with video is also great + the tracking is extremely helpful for times when I'm on my own!

This lens is amazing. I’ve owned several different F1.4 - fast 35’s before and have never been impressed with their performance at or near wide open. This Sony G master has outstanding contrast and sharpness straight from F1.4… for the 1st couple of times shooting with it, I’d instinctively stop down a bit- because I used to have to with other 35mm’s… not this one! Go out and shoot it wide open, stopped-down, it doesn’t matter!

Outstanding quality lens! A bit of focus breathing for video but great nonetheless.

Overall it’s an absolutely amazing lens. Sharp, build quality is top notch. Only issue is the focus breathing. It hunts back and forth so if you’re someone who relies on autofocus just be careful with this lens.

The best lens available for a prime 35, super sharp and works very well with a sony full frame.

Excellent Quality. I use it with my a6400 and love the shots it produces. I previously was using sony 50mm made for crop sensor cameras. The difference between this lens and the other one is like night and day!

AMAZING! Best 35mm that I've ever owned. This lens is sharp from edge to edge. Sold my 35mm a while back and have used the 16-35mm 2.8 side. The G master 2.8 is awesome, but 1.4 looks so much better lol. I love using this lens for lifestyle portraits as it allows you to get a lot of the background into your shots. Get this lens... You will not regret it!

This 35GM lens is superb!!! The autofocus and clarity blown me away. It is on the pricey side but it is all worth it especially if you are holding it the whole day with regards to its weight. A must have. By the way I shoot stills.

Im a professional wedding and new born photographer and Sony has been my go to since the start. The 35mm is amazing for a ton of different photos but have specifically shined for my ring shots and my new born work as the detail and focus it provides is AMAZING. I shoot on an Alpha A7 IV which helps me take full advantage of the lens features.

I have several Sony lenses but out of them this is the sharpest lens. It is sharp even when you zoom 300%. The color and image quality this produce are superb. In addition this lens is not heavy and well balanced with my A7III camera. I am glad I purchased this lens.

This is my first prine lens for Sony 6400 and the main reason for my purchase the f1.4 aperture. I really wanted the blurry background effect in my pictures for short distances. This is thr beat lens for the that specific job.

My go-to lens for portraits, weddings, concerts and just about everything else. The autofocus is fast and accurate. I switched from Canon to Sony two years ago and used to use a Sigma 35mm 1.4 lens. This lens blows the Sigma out of the water.

This has become my favorite lens, it’s super sharp edge to edge. Colors are awesome on this. Super fast and accurate focus. If your in the Sony system it’s a must have for anyones kit. No downside except the cost but your getting what you pay for in this one.
