You need to buy the new Sony ZV-E1!

If you have this camera on automatically, it sends the sensor every time you’re inside or out. It does the work for it and is pretty good along with the kit lens. I understand that you nay have a budget right now and thats ok. Get the G master lens whenever you have the money for it! It fits better.

My client had a big company meeting, I ordered this in hopes that it would arrive on-time. It did. The portability and epic low light shooting was a game changer for collecting b-roll at the event. I actually really like the kit lens, but I was also using a wide lens that I use on my other Sony. The stability is really great, it does crop when using the stability, but the quality is still there. Other notes: I didn't have time to mess with shooting in SLog3. I just threw it in auto and went to town.

Nice big pixels, great video quality, compact size. Sure i can deal with sonys awful menus if the end result requires less massaging in post. Well, i got the camera, charged it, got everything setup and ready. Then i took it to a shoot, where it promptly overheated in just over 10 minutes, then shut down, and would not turn on for another 30. The shoot was in a 69 degree controlled environment and not even sunlight. So i figure its just a defective unit, maybe the heat sink paste was misapplied. Then i googled the issue and found tons of reports on the same issue and the cameras only been released a couple weeks. I returned it for a lumix 5sii... saved some money, got better controls and menus, oh, and i can shoot for more than 10 minutes. Giving an extra star because the footage i got was pretty decent.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. The camera has a setting that would allow you to record longer before it turns off automatically to prevent overheating. Please go to MENU → (Setup) → [Power Setting Option] → [Auto Power OFF Temp.] then set it to High.

Light as a feather compared to my older camera's. Im so impressed at the quality of video in this camera, the detail, the color, the smooth stabilization out of box. The on board mic that sounds like a rhode. Sony hit the nail on the head and it was worth every penny.

ZV-E1 is great!

Easy to use for beginners with a ton of professional features as well. The quality is amazing in both high and low light scenarios. Only thing I would improve would be its overheating issues. They rarely happen but it still happens when using it for long periods of time.

Solid Body, Skip the Kit Lens

From what I understand, it's the smallest body with a full frame sensor you can buy. I would recommend you save the $300-ish that go towards the kit lens and invest it in a different lens instead.

It’s full-frame It’s compact, it’s elegant, it’s light and it has a sharp image with great autofocus.

Amazing Camera!

Been using it for gym content and lifestyle vlogging and it is seamless to switch back and forth.
