We have been using a Mevo camera which works well most of the time, sometimes the software is buggy. I didn't get the kit lense, I upgraded to the Sony 18-105 zoom lense. The camera is easy to use, light and the battery holds up well. At first I tried 1080p. I wasn't that impressed so I switched to 4k, which is much better. I paired the camera with the Sony Bluetooth shooting grip for remote control capabilities, it works well with the camera. So far so good using the Zv-E10.

Beginner camera

For the price it is perfect. However since buying it, Sony has come out with several new cameras so idk if I would go with this one or spend a little more for something else but I’m very content with this zve10.

I’m using mine to shoot for band’s shows and gives me great video in low lighting of the venue! Getting another one as my second camera ! Read a lot of comparisons to the A6400 and I see people recommending the zv e10 over it and now I see why!

Works great as a webcam via USB C or even better via HDMI out to a capture card for streaming.

I am not a professional photographer/videographer but it is easy to use for a beginner. I would say the photos are still giving me trouble to output the best shot because I know the capability is far greater than what I am receiving.

Pro level picture at a prosumer price

Once paid twice as much when I got the a6500 a few years ago and this one has the same exact sensor and a flip screen. I understand that the build quality isn’t quite as good (plastic as opposed to metal) but that’s not really the point here. If you’re looking for a more professional build quality then you’re going to want to go up and get a full frame A series camera anyways. This in my opinion is the best prosumer camera on the market.
