We have been using a Mevo camera which works well most of the time, sometimes the software is buggy. I didn't get the kit lense, I upgraded to the Sony 18-105 zoom lense. The camera is easy to use, light and the battery holds up well. At first I tried 1080p. I wasn't that impressed so I switched to 4k, which is much better. I paired the camera with the Sony Bluetooth shooting grip for remote control capabilities, it works well with the camera. So far so good using the Zv-E10.

Beginner camera

For the price it is perfect. However since buying it, Sony has come out with several new cameras so idk if I would go with this one or spend a little more for something else but I’m very content with this zve10.

I’m using mine to shoot for band’s shows and gives me great video in low lighting of the venue! Getting another one as my second camera ! Read a lot of comparisons to the A6400 and I see people recommending the zv e10 over it and now I see why!

I am not a professional photographer/videographer but it is easy to use for a beginner. I would say the photos are still giving me trouble to output the best shot because I know the capability is far greater than what I am receiving.

I always stuck to editing RAW files but now I'm happier with the JPGs sent to my phone than my Iphone 13 pros pictures. Of course the RAW files are still there but how great is it to take some shots and just wifi transfer them to your phone and share with people. The wifi transfer is too slow I will say that. But if you can live without weather sealing, a viewfinder and aren't addicted to shortcut buttons then get this and skip the a6400 and a6600

Whether you are getting ready to start a career in photography, video or using it as a tool to start a new hobby, this is an excellent camera. First, the body is extremely light but feels well built. It comes with a surprisingly decent microphone, which allows you to start vlogging if you were interested in starting a youtube, and saves you from additional equipment. Paired with the excellent Sigma 16mm F1.4, it gives you a wide-angle lens with decent low-light ability. It also comes with a fully articulating, or flip-out, display which makes it easy to frame yourself while recording or taking pictures. It also makes it easier to use by limiting the buttons you have down to easy to use options. For beginners, you have a button that will take you between photography, video, and the automatic modes. And it also offers a "defocus" button that will prioritize aperture to keep your background nice and blurry. Overall, I can confidently recommend this as a starting camera for all the features and ease of use.
