The SONY battery Charger BC-TRX is a great way to charge my Sony camera model RX100 VI's Sony Li ion battery #NP-BX1. The charger can charge the battery either out-side or in-side the camera. If you have an extra camera battery you can still use your camera while the second battery is being charged. Also if you are not sure of the electric circuits in your hotel room or in your ship cabin, this can keep your camera from possible damage should there be a short in the wall circuit. The charger has a light diode panel which tells you the progress of the battery's charging.

The camera I own is a Sony Cybershot. I bought it in 2010, and it still ka really great condition. I don't normally use my camera because I have my phone, but when I go to special occasions, I want to make sure I have a regular camera with better quality than my phone. Anyway, I brought my cAmera to a special event occasion out of town where I had to stay in a hotel, and forgot my batter charger. Sadly, you can't just plug this camera into the cord it comes with to charge it, you need an actual battery charger. I looked online, and to my surprise, I could not find the charger I needed, so I went into the store. I spoke with an employee who helped me; we found the charger I needed, but it was like 5x bigger than the one I had orginally and also cost about $50! I had to get it because I had a special occasion coming up. Like I said, it does the job to charge the camera really well. I went on a 7 day cruise and only needed to charge my battery once! But it was pricey!

We were getting ready to travel and my wife decided that we definitely needed to take her camera, but we could not find the charger. We found a very helpful associate at the local Best Buy who helped us find a suitable (and affordable) charger. We have been pleased with its performance and convenience.
