What more can you say about an OEM battery charger. I can take out my batteries from the camera and charge them up without the hassle of plugging up my camera. (I do think this should have been included with the camera.)

I’m no fan of charging a battery through a camera so this makes more sense and is much easier.

This is a must have for a6000 users. The camera itself does not come with a wall charger like this one, the reason for that is beyond me and I honestly do not understand Sony's mindset behind it. Notwithstanding, it makes it a whole lot easier to charge the battery without having to connect the cable from the camera to the charger and exposing the camera to being dropped or something like that.

Makes it easy to recharge the camera batteries. It's better than using the USB port on the camera.

Should this come with the camera? Sure. But if you have to buy an accessory for your camera, this is a great one. Don't charge your battery INSIDE the camera!!

A fully charged spare battery is a no brainier necessity for a photographer's gadget bag. The best way to insure that your battery is properly charged is with a Sony charger. Sony does not supply external chargers with any of its cameras, only a USB cable that uses your camera as a charger, so this and a spare battery is needed to insure you don't become "brainless" with a spent battery during a photo session.

I was so lucky to find this charger at Best Buy. I needed it in a pinch to charge my camera when I lost my original charger. As always Best Buy had what I needed in stock and available right away. I was able to take the pictures I needed within hours of my purchase.
