Works great. Small size. Useful streaming features work over wifi. With a Sony TV, the TV input changes automatically when you put in a disk, and changes back when you power off the player.

This player is compact and easy to use. Tons of aps for those that stream. Hooked to my Samsung (non 4K TV) pictures were crisp and sharp. Very happy!

I purchased this BluRay unit and it seems nice. It is a fast start up and recognizes disks quickly. Good picture and decent sound - little unit. Only problem is with the purchase experience. Ordered online and got a text saying it was ready. I got to the store and they did not have the unit ready for pick up - had to wait 15 minutes while someone went to the back of the "warehouse" to retrieve the unit. When I got the unit home it was obvious that this was an open box unit - batteries in the remote, greasy fingerprints (really) all over the unit. Power cord tangled. I could clean the unit and it works so it's too much of a hassle to bring it back, but this is really lousy customer service.

Great Blu-Ray player, compact size, with 4K upscaling built in, good value for money. Has most of the apps built in along with wi-fi so ideal if you are using a TV that doesn't.

Great picture and fast functions. Enjoy being able to pop a movie in and not worry about internet connection.

Needed a new blu-ray player since my old one was not able to play 3D movies. Love that its not big and is wifi compatible. The price is great for all features that are included.

I just wanted to upgrade my normal DVD player to BluRay and this model served the purpose at a very decent price. Has features I may use in the future with 4K and has WIFI now.

This unit does everything we need and does it very well. It makes our bluray movies look better, streams Netflix and YouTube in high resolution with no lag or quality issues, and connects to Spotify on my phone easily. Setup is a breeze. There are more apps than I'll ever have time to explore. The only drawback I've found is that it's screen mirroring feature does not work with iPhones. I blame that on Apple, and not Sony though.

Old Sony Blue-ray device finally died, along with our Panasonic CD player. We wanted only one device to perform both functions. So, we purchased this Sony model, which was compatible with our current home theater system. New Sony device quickly plugged in to our home theater system and the settings were easy to set up to get it up and running. Really like the 4K Upscaling feature. Excellent video picture quality.

I've had this Sony Blu-ray for less than a week but it is way more than I expected. I was replacing an older Blu-ray that didn't offer streaming capability, so I am very happy with the options on this device. I should add that the unit is one-third the size of my old one, and excels in every facet I was looking for. The unit is easy to plug in, set-up and use. The remote is well organized and logical.

I got this mainly because my old Samsung player would no longer connect to my WIFI or LAN connection for streaming. (All my other devices on the network work fine) I figured it was an outdated firmware issue but I could not get it to accept an upgrade that I downloaded to a jump drive from the Samsung site. It works well for streaming but I haven't used it to play blu-ray discs yet. I didn't get a 4k player yet because I haven't upgraded my TV yet. When I do, I can use the Sony for upscaling playback from my regular Blu-ray discs. I chose the Sony because it seemed to generally have better reviews than similar Samsung players.

We don't have many BluRay discs yet and some DVD formatting does not fill up the entire screen; however, quality is good and unit is easy to operate. Also surprised by the fairly low price.

I replaced another brand that was much older with this Sony player. I was very pleased with the size and performance. Easy to setup and picture and sound are great. Excellent value.

SONY blue ray with excellent quality and very easy to use. WE are very pleased with our new purchase . Sony products never let us down. Price was affordable. Love the color of black to blend in with other electronic items on our shelving

This Blu-ray player is great. I really like the Bluetooth feature. Easy set up and plays my DVDs as well. You can stream a few apps that are preloaded on it. Honestly, don’t even use that feature, I have Firestick Tv for my streaming services. I looked everywhere for a Blu-ray player that was mid level with Bluetooth so I can pair it with my Bose headphones at night, so I can watch my movies without disturbing others while they sleep. And for the price you just can’t beat this Sony Blu-ray.

This is my 4th Sony blu ray player as I enjoy their quality sound & picture, ease of operation, good pricing & value.

Fast, sleek and good price. I use mostly ro stream amazon prime channels. No lagging! Plays dvds and Blu-ray s without issue.

OK, I'm not all that excited about electronics when they do what they are supposed to do. This unit does just what it's supposed to. Very clear picture. Very easy to operate. My big beef with units these days is that most only have HDMI. This one has HDMI and a digital coax jack. My old Hitachi receiver needs more to provide good sound. For an inexpensive unit that does just fine, this is it. Good, simple, affordable
