Very easy to set up. Loads super fast easy to use remote that also controls the TV. Was able to set up the Wi Fi and get my Amazon account going in less than 5 minutes.

Looked at several units on-line and decided on the Sony from the reviews and price. Easy to operate and hook up. Very nice picture and would purchase this item again.

Sony products used to be of the highest build quality. This product doesn't have that "Apple" build quality to it, yet for the price it provides fantastic picture quality and tons of great features, including WiFi streaming. I'm not sure whether this will last as long as some of my 20 year old Sony products, but for the price, it doesn't really matter.

I was initially concerned about connecting the unit to the tv. This unit was easy to set up and has performed very well.

Works really well with my Sony TV. Small compact and does the job much better than my old blu ray player. Would recommend highly for Sony TV owners looking for a good blu ray player.

I bought this to replace a still working 1st generation Sony BD player, which still works fine but is showing its age. The "smart" part of the player was low on my list but has turned out to be a major plus. It does a great job of streaming from Amazon prime and the usb port has played every format I have fed it. The player even reads the hard drive in my Western Digital Media Player (on my network). Blu Ray disks look better then they did on the old Sony. Very happy with this purchase.

I love the wifi connection addition to my blue ray. I just hooked it up to my 4K and it looks great.

AV installer and only use Sony bluray for consumer level players. Better quality than any all others in this price range. Best apps. Fast startup. Other brands don't last as long.

This player is well worth the minimal cost. It has all the apps you'd expect and then some. Picture quality is very good although I do not really notice much "upscaling" when playing standard definition DVD's. Blu-ray playback, however, is outstanding. It also supports streaming certain media types from my home network although I wish is supported more video formats. The only issue I've had so far is when you leave a disk in to continue watching, say, another episode of a TV series at a later date, it sometimes starts the DVD over which was not the case with my older Sony blu-ray player which this replaced. All in all a very good purchase

This is the best tv I have ever owned! 4K is wonderful. You can see details in every scene that I would not have noticed before...so clearance! Sound is marvelous,

Love this Sony Blu ray player as much as did my others, The only reason i upgrade to the 4K player is the the best possible picture out of my new TV. But am very happy i did so.

I was looking to upgrade to a 3-D player. Picture is outstanding. Easy set up. 3-D works great. Avatar shines in 3 D

It's a simple Blu Ray that synch up perfectly with my Sony tv and all my other song products. No complaints so far.

This Sony is compact, streamlined and performs as hoped. I use it for streaming as well as viewing and has more features than comparable units by other brands.

I purchased this player because an actual 4k player was not available {this one does upscaling) but I play DVD and Blu-ray and CD and USB memory stick media into a 4k Samsung Video display-TV thru HDMI, and have great fun watching and listening. My only problem is connectivity. I do not know whether the HDMI is ever going to work. I often have to restart the screen or wiggle or pull and replace plugs to get the picture. The audio always works. And sometimes I must use the remote control for the player rather than the video remote, so I know there is a mismatch somewhere. But when everything is working, it is absolutely gorgeous.

Product works great. We bought this after having issues with our PS3 playing blurays. This accompanied our Sony 4k TV very well and they work great together.

I bought one of these 6 months ago to go with Sharp Aquos 4k tv. Upscaled Netflix 4k content looks really nice. You can force Dolby surround in the audio settings, which is what I needed for my older receiver setup. When my son bought a Samsung JS 8500 tv, I got him one of these for his birthday. This tv has 3d, so we got some 3d blu ray movies, and wow... we loved watching blu rays in 3d. The 3d might get old, but I'm not getting tired of the excellent picture quality this blu ray player kicks out. This will keep me happy until true 4k players come down in price.

Love this DVD player!! Bought it on sale for $99. I'm not a big spender when it comes to stuff like this but I recently bought a 4k tv and decided to buy this 4k dvd player too. Before I bought the DVD player, I had a regular Blu-ray dvd player. Quality was good, but when I upgraded to this 4k Blu-ray dvd player the picture were even better. Wireless Internet was faster too. Overall, very happy with product. Definitely worth the money in my book. But like I said, I'm not usually one to buy expensive quality stuff....so in my "beginner's opinion" it was worth it!

Great picture and quality movies look so much better on this blu ray player vs the Samsung. No issues with streaming movies and that was important for me.
