It would also just stop playing Pandora and freeze. It got so bad that I would have to keep unplugging the power on the unit. I couldn't even power off with the remote or manually. Eventually, there was another software update. It started working again. I paid too much to have to replace it. Thank God for software updates.

We've only used it a few times, but it has worked just fine. It seems to have what we need in a basic player and easy-to-use remote. Only downside: It only has an HDMI port. Our older one had both kinds because of limited jacks on other devices. This required more installation than I anticipated.
