Needed a 4K blu ray for my 4K Sony television. They work great together. Picture quality is outstanding!

We bought a 65" Sony 4K TV and wanted an upscaling 4K Blu Ray player. We had recently bought a Sony Blu Ray player that was not 4K, but still a great piece of equipment, for the old TV. This was the one recommended and it is a gem. EVERYTHING that comes thru the player is crystal clear and lifelike. Couldn't ask for a better picture from a player.

This blue ray player works great. Easy to set up and gives a great picture even playing regular DVDs

We've always used our Playstations to play blu-rays, but noticed that streaming would be affected because of the poor wi-fi router. We researched a bunch of players and found this one matched our needs--quality, price and streaming potential. So far, it's worked out great. The startup sometimes is slow but once it's up and going, it works great. The remote tends to stick and I've had trouble when pressing the home menu where it takes a few pushes to get it going.

I was surprised at how compact this Blu-ray player is. It takes up very little space which is a plus if you have a smaller entertainment center. The player has very fast start and loading times and the built in wireless LAN is a plus. I was able to connect to my internet in a manner of minutes with no hassle at all. This player also has great options such as Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, Amazon and Huluplus to choose from as well.

This blueray was to replace one I bought 2+ years prior. both were supposed to be smart but the Samsung one would not even connect to the internet, play by DVDs, or let me watch Netflix. This blu ray has everything and everything WORKS, perfectly. I am so happy with this purchase I can scream. Highly recommend. Even Netflix works.Every app works.

Great purchase to go along with our new Sony 4K HD TV, this BDP replaced our 8 year old Sony BDP that cost almost 4x as much back then! Super easy set up and connections via HDMI and LAN to cable and TV as well as wireless home network. Super fast loading compared to the older model, Blu-ray Discs load in less than a minute. Built in apps are easy to navigate and also easily links to websites. Great value, highly recommend.

I have a Sony TV, purchased this player because of the 4K upscaling. The pictures frames and quality are great.

I picked this up to replace a Blu-ray player I had that had no WiFi capability. The fact that it upscales to 4K and will show 3D was an added benefit. The low price (Christmas sale) made it hard to pass up and I'm glad I got it! Easy set-up and configuration as well.

If you have a 4K Ultra HDTV, with the limited options there are to actually watch anything in this 4K quality, thus is a must have. I just hope that at some point soon, at least some channels will begin to broadcast in this quality, kind of like when Plasma TV'S first came out and there were only a few channels to watch in HD. It seems as of now, that buying my Sony 4K Ultra HD TV, was a waste of money for 2 reasons. It has been 2 years and still no other options to receive this quality of viewing, and because the same exact TV is now 1000 dollars cheaper than when I bought it. At first I thought the technology was just a little ahead of its time and that within a year that at least the main networks would begin broadcasting in this signal. But now I question if it will ever happen at all. Otherwise it is a great picture when watching on Netflix, or using the upscaler to watch movies, but otherwise a waste of the extra money.
