I have had this unit only for a few weeks and can only give my first impressions (which are very positive so far). I have used my player to watch Blu Ray movies in my 4K tv and the Sony unit seems to do a very good upscaling job. So far I am very satisfied.

Excellent price and value with no issues during setup and runs without problems.

I have never seen some of my old DVD's as on this new Blu Ray. WOW...it takes it up such a notch, unbelievable especially if you have older material and can come to life. Thanks team for suggesting this great product.

I've only used it for the last few days. Set up was easy and it plays Blue-Ray's - DVD's very well and very clean. The wifi connected very easly and the smart function of HULU, VUDU, Netflix, and Amazon Video all easy to set up also. Very good unit and price was right.

This Sony 4K upscale 3D player is easy to use and has a great picture quality. It was easy to install and works great with the remote. I have used it several times and it plays a DVD with no freezing. You can also stream many shows with it.

Overall a versatile Blu ray player and a good value. Things I like: This is a very small player, so it was easy to find space for it. It features many online streaming apps, and the set up process for wifi was very straightforward. Using the online apps (like Amazon Prime) was also easy. In addition to Blu ray and DVD, this player supports a good number of data formats for pictures, video, and music, such as jpg and mp4. These can be accessed using a USB stick or a recorded dvd. Nice. Things I might improve: There is no display on this device. Might be nice to have a playback counter, but this is certainly not a deal breaker. Even though many data formats are supported, I have run into some that are not, including avi. More comprehensive support for data formats would improve this device. There does not appear to be a web browser feature, although I am not sure how beneficial this would be.

Easy to set up and use lots of extra features can't wait to get more 4K discs

I love this UHD Player by Sony and was actually quite surprised at how easy it was to operate, considering that Sony is normally known for convoluted menu systems these days...but not here. It is an excellent product up and down. The App Selection has just about all you need plus some. The Up conversion of Blu-Ray Disc is Excellent as well. No problems whatsoever. I highly recommend.

Really like the small size as it takes up less space; yet works very well.

Despite its flimsy feel, this is a good, solid blu-ray player: excellent picture, outstanding upconversion of DVDs, quick loading, good remote and a better (easier to follow) menu system than prior years' models. Only one thing I don't like: There is no display on the player itself. Other than that, I really like this player.

It does all wat was said on d commercial...pic is crystal 3D pics..sound output fab.u won't leave ur seat an inch wen watching blue ray movies..u can brows on all latest YouTube videos..wit 3D tv u up ur entertainment experience in ur home..it change d way u enjoy movie..d product is good n I will definitely recommend it 2 my buddies...u should get one..u won't regret it.

The connected apps work great and the upscaling is perfect on my Sony 4K TV

This blu ray player was very easy to setup both mechanically and through the software. Updating was quick and painless. Plays DVD's and Blu Rays well enough. The only reason I give it four stars is that for some reason I often have to setup the network when I want to watch netflix, I dont know if that is the device or my LAN, but I dont have this issue with other devices. A good product for sure.
