Easy to setup, easy to navigate, and a quality picture.

I like the fact I use my portable hard drive using usb to watch movies. I like the fact that the player has software updates and is wi-fi ready!!! i also like the power saving feature as well, when you are away the device goes to "sleep"

We travel about twice a month for my daughter's tennis, so we use this DVD player to plug in at hotels to utilize not just DVD's but to access online apps like Hulu Plus, Netflix and Amazon prime video. It works great. It's size is super convenient. It fits nicely in a 10" neoprene tablet case. You can also use it for PlayStation Now with a dual shock controller. The built-in wifi adapter seems to perform solidly. I also tried it at home with my 60" Panasonic flatscreen and because of the 4K upscaling, the picture quality is phenomenal. For the price I paid, the convenience of it's portable size and the solid performance so far, this was a great purchase.

A DVD player is pretty basic, and this is easy to set up and the WIFI got connected with no issues and streaming videos using WIFI works well. Playing DVD works as expected with no skipping or buffering.

I love that this turns my TV into a smart TV. The picture quality when watching Netflix movies is amazing. It would be nice to have more apps available, but it has enough. Also love that it has full internet access to visit actual websites.

nice playback and great picture and small size player

Bought this as an emergency replacement for my Samsung BDF7500 3D player that failed prematurely. Glad I did. Much better upscaling! Small, compact and fast booting with more streaming options. Had a price match with Target to make this an even sweeter deal.

Flawless Blu-ray. I have had some problems with intermittent loss of picture while streaming. I do not know if this is due to the unit or the streaming service- Vudu, or even my cable supplier. Streaming is flawless into my smart TV so I am putting my money on the BDPS6500. May have something to do with the HDMI synchronization

After taking this product home and installing it, I experienced another great quality Sony product. The upgrade functionality of this player provides all around better sound, crispness of image and true color that is superb. Feel confident if you purchase this product and consider it a very wise buy.

Song just never disappoints when it comes to Blu Ray players. Small size and does everything you want including 4K upscaling. For the price you can't beat it.

The player was easy to use and the picture is bright.

Easy to hook up - easy to use. Excellent picture quality. Smart streaming features work well. Nice design. Do not have any 3D movies or 3D TV, so not sure how that feature will work.

This was just what I needed...but.....since I had just purchased a smart tv I had to move it into my bedroom which worked out great. One thing to keep in mind when buying this does your tv or gaming system capable of playing blu-rays. Something I didn't do before hand. Oh well I had an older Samsung that it works on great.

This machine is compact and performs as advertised.

I bought this bd player to pair it to a new Sony 4k tv and is doing a wonderful job right out of the box! Also I was totally shocked how small this player is and doing such a wonderful job: converting everything you give it (DVD, BD, avi, mkv, mp4,etc) in a blown away audio or video experience!

Good picture & built in Wi-Fi. Poor remote design.

This is the first blu-ray player I've had out of the last 3 that has actually not manifested issues in the first week, so very pleased so far. Easy setup, good app selection, love the built-in wifi and that it hasn't had issues with internet connectivity/ disc playback right out of the box.

Great Blu-Ray for the price. Mainly bought it for the apps. Specifically Netflix since my TV is not a smart TV. It was a cheaper alternative to get Netflix in one of our bedrooms without having to buy a new TV. I like also having access to YouTube on the TV through the Blu-Ray as well.

Buying a 4k TV Will require some new gadgets. The old simple dvd player will not satisfy picture quality on any 4k TV. Therefore, I strongly recommend new accessories such as this Sony & anything else out there to maximize your movie experience. Great picture quality for a great! price.
