sometimes gets "stuck" and has to be rebooted.We have had Sony DVD players before. They aren't as user friendly as I would like. Good deal for the price...we got this on sale.

I don't know if it's the Sony tv or the Sony 3d blue ray player but together they make a great team, the 3d picture quality is unreal and the upscale on regular blue rays is 4k quality nice job sony

My PS3 stopped reading disk, so I needed to purchase a new Blu-ray player. Decided to go with the Sony because of the great reviews. It's small, but powerful, and looks great on my 65" 4K Vizio.

The folks at Best Buy advised us to buy this Sony player since it was compatible with our Sony TV. This was good advice and made the set up easier. The performance has been great. We have had no problems at all. We have had this player about 5 months.

Picture from the bluray is absolutely great, I don't have any complains. Sound is great too. The device locks in streaming, it does only up to 1080p and sometimes it was challenged to even reach that, while on my TV I was running 4K. Both, TV and BR were connected via CAT6.

This is an excellent little Blu-Ray player. It supports many different disc options such as Blu-ray 3d, dud and of course regular Blu-ray. This unit also provides excellent 4K upscaling and has numerous apps built in with many more available for download. This unit also has a smaller footprint than regular a/v components. There is no read out on the front display, just 1 small led light indicating power. Very sleek. If you are in the market for a excellent little Blu-ray player with lots of options, you cant go wrong with this little unit.

This blue ray player is incredible. It is currently connected to a Samsung 3D 4K tv and works flawlessly. Highly recommended to go for the up scaling and 3D in case u upgrade a tv later. Worth the price and super easy to install and connect. Buy it!!

It does a good job of upscaling, decent amount of apps. It is very lightweight which makes it seem flimsy but it does the job. Worth the price, would recommend.

I connected the player to a Sony 55" 4K tv and connection was simple. Played a Blu-Ray disk and was plesently supprised at the difference in picture clarity between the upscaled 4K and the regular Blu-Ray player (also a Sony). Very happy with the player.

This Sony Blu-Ray player is excellent. It is small and powerful. The interface works smoothly and the playback of Blu-Rays is simple. It is supposed to upconvert, but I am still working on this.

This was purchased due to buying a 3D TV and not having a 3D BDP. No research was done. The purchase was based on price and brand name. This was a great impulse purchase. The size of the unit made placement very easy. We are enjoying watching 3D movies.

I needed to upgrade my DVD player to go with my new 4k TV. I didn't really know a lot about the players functions, but found that the apps seem to look and sound better though blue ray player than the TV apps. Don't know why that is, but I'm happy.

I bought one of these for my first 3D TV, and I love it. So, when I bought a second 3D TV, I immediately bought this as the player for that TV. Easy set up, excellent wireless connection, and performs very well. I highly recommend this player!

Sony is the standard for quality, value and ease of use. The 4K upscale is great and really is noticeable with the proper Monster HDMI cables.

This unit isn't much different from the 6200, the on screen layout is quite different but it plays about the same, I like the smaller size of the unit and the 3d viewing is a lot better than the other 3d blue-ray players I have which are sony as well

It gets the job done. Small footprint for a Blue-ray player. Got it on sale at a reasonable price. Upscales my Blue-rays to 4K (although I'm wondering if my new Sony 850C 4K TV would have done this anyway without need of the new Blue-ray player).

Very satisfied with my purchase of this item. Had a Samsung dvd player that was always slow loading up movies and always needing updates. This Sony is very fast loading movies, and is loaded with many features such as 4k upconverting, and 3rd capable. No complaints!

It matches up well with my 4k 3d tv, as well as smart no need to switch if going to apps like hulu or netflix. Perfect

I needed to update my Mothers movie watching. I replaced a 10 year old dvd player with this new Blu-ray player. The picture quality is great, she loves it! I'm going to buy one of these for myself when I replace my television in the future.
