Been waiting for this to go on sale for some time. Not disappointed with purchase or performance with my 65" Sony TV.

Easy to use and quick set up. I have had Samsung and LG blu-rays before, but this is by far the best I've purchased.

The 4K upscaling makes even a nicer picture for HD. Awesome that it has the additional feature of streaming as well!

After my LG BluRay player decided to die on me, I picked this up on sale. Bought on reputation of past Sony products and have not been disappointed outside of a few quirks that I think are more user error than anything.

I have paired this 3d blue ray with the 55 inch Samsung Curved android tv. Regular blue ray movies are so awesome to watch. So I figured I would step my game up and shell out the money for the 3d movies and the glasses. It really feels like you are inside the tv. FYI: I had to go to two different Best Buy stores to get the battery operated 3d glasses because they sell so fast. Even then I wanted four pairs but they only had two pairs in the whole store. The rechargeables had to be ordered. So I grabbed what I could. So if they have it in stock don't wait.

This has opened a whole new world for us...used for streaming...so many choices of great shows.Of course you need to subscribe to the services but so much more economical than purchasing a smart TV.

This player does so much and has so many features. Many of them I have not used yet. It has a great picture and I have found no fault with it in my use. Highly recommended, especially for the price.

This is a compact unit that has been used minimally so far, but has performed well paired with my Sony 4k TV. Good value.

4K is relatively new, and it wouldn't hurt to wait for true 4K Blu-ray discs and players that are coming real soon. It works ok, but money may be better spent later.

Went in to buy another BluRay, nothing fancy. Well after looking at the HD version and for a little more $$ with wifi, hands down the better choice. Wife loves streaming stuff, happy wife = happy life!

very small form factor; excellent blu ray playback both 2D and 3D. Easy interface, built-in dual band wifi. web firmware updates. I've always liked Sony BD players, this one is also a good player.

I bought this to replace a blu-ray that was having issues. It was easy to set up - just plug it in and attach a HDMI cable, then put in your wireless info. The apps work well (amazon, netflix). The only issue I've had is that occasionally when I try to play something from my home network share drive (DLNA) it will lock up completely and I have to cycle power on it by unplugging it. It would be nice if it had some kind of display on the unit, but I guess that's how they make it so inexpensive.

Great mchine for the price. You can't go wrong with a Sony product as they've been around for many many years. I mean the quality is there besides the ease of use.

Sony, because the value is in the name. On sale, 3D, WiFi, Blu-Ray, 4K Upscaling and a great remote control to manage all that capability. Simple, powerful and compact...So, what is it missing?...answer: NOTHING. Nice.

I'm so excited to be able to stream. I now have Netflex and have am also able to watch my Amazon prime shows on my regular TV rather than only on my computer and Ipad. I'm so glad I bought this.

This blu-ray player was easy to set up, and is user friendly. It works great for CD's and DVD's, haven't tried WiFi or 4k yet, haven't figured that out yet because not yet needed, maybe later.

This Sony Blu-ray player is smaller than my previous one from Samsung but surely much better picture and sound...Love it and highly recommended

With the new Blu-ray Player we get excellent picture quality. The only thing we noticed is when we play some of the older discs in it, it makes a little noise in the player but shows no quality issues on the tv.
