Great blu-ray family for the impatient

Have not used the up scaling, ultra hd, or 3D capabilities as this was bought to fit with a later to be purchased tv with those capabilities. Start up and use speed of the blu-ray has been impressive. Includes dozens of apps for those who like to use online tv and movie services. All apps have run flawlessly and quickly. So far very happy with the purchase.

Sony Know How

Wi-Fi was easy to set up. Just a few clicks, enter password, and you're on line. The 4K is great too. Hooked it up to my new 4K Vizio and watched "Avatar." Mind blown!!!

I stick with Sony

This one starts much faster, is more compact, and is just what I expected. I don't have an Ultra 4k TV yet so I bought this one for the potential. It isn't true 4k but the Best Buy employee said it would play Ultra 4k.

Very nice Blu-ray player

Wish it had more buttons on the front of unit besides just eject and power (what if I my remote runs out of batteries or I lose it?) Also, my manual says it should come with an HDMI cable, but it did not.

Nice basic DVD player

4K up scaling 3D blu ray

It does the job quite well but I have just one beef with it...the size. I know that tech is getting smaller with each new generation but this just seems a little too much. It looks out of place amongst all my other components. 10 inches wide and an inch and a half tall. It is also feather light. All of this is all just personal preference and does not detract from it being a great blu ray player
