Fast, small blu-ray player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There's really not much to this blu-ray player physically - it's only slightly larger than the drive itself. One warning - the power supply is external on this model, so you may need more space on the power strip. Speed is quite good - it loads blu rays and DVDs quickly, navigates menus well, and has (for blu rays) the same HDMI output quality as pretty much every other player out there. Bonus points for being able to play content from my MythTV backend. 3D blu rays are supported and work well. I can't say how well the 4K upscaling works, as I have not really compared it to the TV's internal scaler.
