Only setback was getting apps loaded - no directions - but once we figured it out we were able to add apps - great blue ray player for the money !

Overall a great Blu-ray player and I plan on buying another for the downstairs TV.

Read many, many reviews ahead of this purchase and feel it was the right choice for us without spending more than necessary. Fairly straight forward to set up, and has been performing well. Recommended.

The picture is great on all the blu-rays I have tried out on it so far. It is an upgrade over the PS3. The picture is better and the player is quicker to respond. I would highly recommend this player.

compact blue ray player with great qualities

Easy setup and very compact in my entertainment cabinet. The picture quality is great with standard dvd's and even better with the blue rays. Have not watch a 3d movie as of right now.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 star because it keep logging off internet when TV is turned off and you have to reset everything every time you turn it on to watch, sometimes all the way to the beginning, which means reinserting your internet key code other than that is great, going to get in touch with Sony about this problem to see if its something I might need to do differently. Other than that is great.

Has series streaming issues and network connection issues. Also when connected the download speed is pretty slow. I can't even get amazon prime in HD.

We would like to recommend to try the steps available through the following link to try to solve the issues you are experiencing with the connectivity when using the network features. Also make sure that you test your network speed since the unit would require in order to be able to stream HD content properly to have at least 10 Mbps:
