I purchased this Sony DVD player and it is amazing! It is very user friendly and I can access Netflix, Youtube and Amazon with ease. I love this product.

Got this on sale at a super low price, and for the money, incredible bang for the buck. Easy set up. Performs well for watching DVD/Bluray, but disappoints in the app dept.

The first thing you should know about this product is regarding the 4K upscaling. I'll admit my ignorance came out after the purchase. For anyone like me with basic technological understanding, this player will NOT play 4K discs. It will only upscale blu ray discs to near 4K quality. That being said, if you have a 3D TV this player is awesome. It's fantastic if used only for blu ray discs. The quality is crisp, clear, and vibrant while watching on my Sony Bravia X930D. The other factors more than make up for the inability to play 4K discs. Especially if your TV is not 4K. This player is worth every penny.

Does what it's made for, plus some more stuff. My husband feels like a kid in a candy store. He mirrors his cell phone to the TV. Watches movies, streams from You Tube. We have Netflix, and Amazon, so we cut down the dish, and the phone bill. It pays itself. I already recommended it to my daughter so she can also could cut her cable bill. For basic TV we bought a regular antenna which provides all the local channels. We call it freedom. I'll recommended to anyone, better than the Fire TV for the same price. You can watch DVDs, blue rays, and even 3D movies. What else you can ask for?

Installation and set up was easy. The remote controller is intuitive and actually performs as the buttons indicate, contrary to some remotes that aren't very clear. Connected to a Sony TV, as we did, makes it seamless as well. A very good value for the price.

Great bang for the buck. The 4k upscaling is amazing! Action movies are awesome with this dvd player. Easy to use, easy to set up. Sit back and enjoy.

Great Sony dvd upscale blue ray player. it has improved my movie watching greatly. Sony makes great products and it goes along great with my 4k Sony tv.

Have had this device for approx. a month now, bought it because I wanted to upgrade from a DVD player and I was ready to cut the cord. The Blu-ray/DVD player worked well but I encountered a few hiccups with streaming. The device was easy to set up and update and it worked well the first few days, about a week in it refused to connect with the network. I called SONY directly and the customer rep. guided me through factory reset, that did the trick. I received another error again but it corrected itself after a few minutes and connected with my WI-FI network. I guess this is a 'We'll see' situation.

This DVD player was a good addition to our system. Love the 4K up scaling & compact size. Many new apps that my old player was lacking. So far so good...

I first had a Sony 4K bluray player and it just felt cheap and plasticy, the menu was also very cheaply made. So I exchanged for this Samsung and it actually feels and runs like there was time and money out into making it. Very pleased with my purchase

Bought this player to replace an older Sony Bluray player that was having problems playing discs. This one, while solving the disc-playing issue, seems to have less "apps" available to add compared to my old one. Otherwise, everything is working perfectly!

Great picture quality with my Samsung 65 4 k tv. Didn't want to spend twice as much for a true 4 k DVD player . Remote could be better buttons to close together .

Love this DVD player. The upscale 4k is gives an amazing picture. Not quite 4k but close. Load time is quick. Work great with addition Samsung products and links easily.

I was looking to buy something that would compliment my 4K TV. Rather than getting a 4K Player that is triple the price, and starting my collection all over again, I thought this would be a better purchase, and I am glad I made the decision! Movies look fantastic on this player, and if you were to put a 4K player and this side-by-side, I honestly don't know I could tell the difference. The player does a fantastic job of up-sampling. This was a wise choice and would be for you too! Don't buy all your movies again to get the 4K experience, just get this!

This blue ray player is by far the best player I've ever purchased (I have 2 now). SD DVDs almost look HD. Easy remote and excellent wifi capabilities.

We have had Blu-ray 3D for close to 10 years. this is the best one we have had. brought the first one several months ago. we came back for the second one a few weeks ago. best values for the buck.

Excellent price and value. Small size which doesn't take up space and easy to use. Bought it for my 5 year old sons room. The Netflix works great !
