This unit is about half the size of my old Blu Ray player and appears to be a great match to my TV. Since the TV is already smart, I'm only using the player as a player and couldn't be happier with the results. Easy and fast setup. Just plug and enjoy!

Seems fine so far. One small complaint is that when you select to loop or continuous playback, it is not smooth and there is an interruption of playback while it restarts. The screen goes to a menu card and then begins playback again. Other than that, good little dvd player.

I was looking for something to play some old videos that I had on my hard-disk and purchased this one. It was very easy to setup and very compact.

This Blu-Ray player was super easy to setup. I was able to connect it to my parent's router with no issues. The picture is amazing. It is so clear.

This is a great blu-ray for the price! The picture is amazing , upconverting on dvds is solid and it works great if you have a sony 4k tv.

Sony Blu -Ray has excellent picture and easy to set up. Allows streaming if you do not have a smart TV. Purchased on sale and saved over $50.00.

I was looking for a blu ray player to replace an old one in my bedroom. This one fits the bill. Tons of preloaded apps at a reasonable price.

The first I purchased after reading great reviews froze after about 20 minutes of playing a standard pre-recorded DVD. Exchanged it at Best Buy for a another new one which works great - all features as advertised.

We got this to replace our other one and it was much the same. It has more features which is nice. We do slot of streaming and it works really well for that.

This is a great unit, upscale your standard DVD and Bluray to your 4k display! Also has all apps we use to stream our paid services.

This 3D blu-ray player works well, with really easy setup. It has a variety of apps, and you can connect to the Web. This is a good buy.

IT IS SIMPLE TO INSTALL AND OPERATE AND DOES A GREAT JOB STREAMING NETFLIX AND THE LIKES. ALSO IMPROVES MY BLURAY DVD'S DISPLAY ON OUR 4K SONY TV

Very easy to set up and great for streaming. Only issue is it crashes occasionally and has to have power turned off and on. Think it's more an Internet issue.

I think it's by far the best DVD player I've ever had. Upscale nicely and it's handy having my apps such as pandora and crackle loaded on it.

The blue ray is very easy to install and works great. All my old DVDs display very well and the upscale feature is also great with my Sony 4K TV.

This is a great Blueray Player. Easy to setup on screen prompts, didn't need the instructions. Easy to connect to WiFi as well. Good value.

My only complaint is whenever I turn my TV on the blu-ray player turns itself on and the TV input is switched to the blu-ray input even when I don't intend to use the blu-ray player. I'm sure there is a setting somewhere that will fix this but I have not found it.

Not so much great for watching You-tube. Keeps getting stuck after playing for sometime unless restarted with buffet clean-up. Otherwise had not been used a lot apart from watching Netflix and Redbox movies.

This Sony BDPS6500 is working well. We've only used the DVD portion of it but we like the looks of the device, it's doing the job, and it pairs great with our new Sony 55 inch X850c!!!

Was a Christmas gift for my son who is a movie buff. He was very impressed with the quality and options, I was impressed with the price!
