I researched before deciding on this player. It's really a great Blu-ray player. It handles all DVDs. The regular ones have better picture quality on this player, and Blue-rays are just fabulous. At your fingertips are Netflix, Amazon, Crackle, YouTube, Hulu Plus, PlayStation Video (2) & Now, Slacker & iHeartRadio, MLB TV, screen mirroring, WWW access, and more. You can add your favorite apps too . Setup is easy. I did it and I'm 71. This is really a great purchase. Buy it!

This was purchased as a replacement for a Samsung Blu-Ray and DVD player purchased and returned within 24 hours. The Samsung player did not correctly interpret DVD menus, while this one plays flawlessly. The menus at all levels are accessible and function correctly, and the picture quality with our Sharp UHD television is excellent. Even upconverts on older BBC DVDs present well. The only downside is lack of visual feedback - the only light on the player is a power light, and a chapter and time counter would not go amiss.

I purchased this as an upgrade to my present dvd player. I only used it 2 times but picture looks great and being a smart dvd player I can stream from netflicks and amazon with out another streaming device

Got it for my 4K TV. It was the only Sony 4K player available at BestBuy at the time. Only have had it a month, haven't tried 3D features or additional apps, but upscaling seems to work great. Netflix app works great. Easy setup.

I am very happy with my purchase. This device does everything I would want it to. It is easy to set up. The picture quality coming out of it looks great.

No problem with installation or operation. Easy to hook up, and the unit is smaller than I expected. Remote operation is fairly easy. Picture is excellent. I'm very pleased with the player and the cost.

I appreciate the ease of set-up including hardware and network. I signed into YouTube and the picture and sound were quite good. I have not used the DVD player yet but I am confident I will be pleased.

Got this Blu-ray player on sale for $99. What a deal!!! The picture quality with 4K upscaling to my Sony XBR55900B TV is CRAZY AWESOME! Love this unit!

Purchased this to add to my home theater. Was impressed by quality, features, and over make and feel of the device.

I purchased this item for the 4k upscale functionality and so far Im satisfied with it. The image resolution produced by the device is clearly superior than the other dvd player that does not have the upscale capability.

This Bluray player meets and exceeds my expectations in picture quality. The size is perfect since it allows me to conceal it behind my television thus eliminating shelf storage and wire clutter.

Player is good quality and easy to use. Have had a couple times where it froze up on me. Haven't had it long enough to determine if this is a problem or one time thing. Would recommend this product to a friend.

It is a great player for the price. It has a lot of good apps. It gets a great picture and works well with my Denon receiver. I would recommend this product and I am happy with the purchase.

I haven't used the unit a whole lot, but when I have I've really enjoyed it. It's easy to use as well as the remote, plays smoothly and has everything I need and then some.

No issues, easy set up. Using it with a 75" Sony and it delivers great picture and surround sound for my 3 speakers and base speaker. No problems with connectivity with my WiFi. Recommend!

This player replaces an old DVD player that died. Since I recently purchased this item for another room in my home and really liked it, I just bought another. It's compact and easy to use.

I reviewed many 4K upscaling units and this is definitely the best choice out there. Full of features at a good price. The upscaling feature works pretty well. Make sure you have a nice 4K tv or you won't see any difference. This should go without saying but you never know these days. I think you will like the picture and the pre-configured apps offer plenty of additional features to compliment any tv that is not a smart tv.
