I bought this to replace my older Sony 6200. This was suppose to be an upgrade. It worked fine and was just as fast and I liked the smaller form factor. But Sony took away the option to connect to my home network drives that I have a lot of my movies on. Either that, or I could not figure out how to do it. Sony has dumbed down the settings menu. I took it back and will continue to use my 6200.

I have mostly used this for streaming thus far but I'm really impressed already! Was very easy to set up, too. No lo res Netflix ever anymore. Yay!! Also handles closed captioning better than my Roku did. Super happy with my purchase! Looking forward to getting some Blu-rays to try!!

No issues, works as expected. I would recommend this to anyone.

I did not have access to Netflix or any other streaming service and felt out of the main stream. When my DVD Player died, I replaced it with this Smart TV Blue Ray DVD player. Now we binge watch House of Cards episodes on Netflix. We really like this Smart TV Blue Ray DVD Player

Better than expected, plays both DVD and Blue Ray very well, no problems, easy to program and use. The remote is a bit small and simple but it does the job well enough. Probably would have rated this as 5 stars if the remote was a bit better. Would buy again, in fact did buy another one for a friend.

This is a replacement of our old Sony Blue Ray player, so much better, load up fast and easy hook-up!

Needed a new Blu-Ray player because my old one would freeze up half way through some movies. I don't have a 3D or 4K TV, but wanted a newer technology player. I checked all the reviews and then found this one on sale. It works Great! Good wireless and connects to my 40" Sony TV.

I had been looking for a 3D Blu-Ray player to replace the PS3 unit that we had moved into the living room and I read the reviews on this player. I can tell you this player absolutely surpassed all of my expectations and if I had it all to do over again, I'd buy it again in a second.

I have bought 4 of these units in the last 5 years (3 of 1080p variety). I got a 4K TV and decided to get a player which can play 4K bluray discs and which can upscale to 4K. I really like the large number of streaming content this player provides. You can't go wrong with Sony.

Bought this to go with my 4K TV and I am quite pleased, it has been working great. Sorry to say I haven't streamed anything on it yet because I have a smart TV but the hook up to my wireless and the upgrade was easy. I don't have a 3D TV so I can't comment on that feature.

I am very impressed with the blu ray player and how nice it plays older DVDs I have played using it.

Works fine but just has trouble with wifi sometimes.. needs to be stronger at picking up signal..but no other issues

I have a large collection of Blu-ray and reg. DVDs, I don't want to replace them all with 4K movies. I hooked this unit up to a friends 4K and played my 3D Blu-ray the picture and sound were almost an exact match to his 4K movie. Now when I upgrade it won't cost me a fortune.

So far so good. 4 k technology seems to work well and produce a nice picture on my 75 inch Sony 4K

We are happy to have better quality from our DVD's, and happy to be able to play Blue Ray as well.

I wanted to upgrade my DVD player so I could take advantage of my new 3D TV. This was a great buy for the price.

Plays dvd just fine - Was hoping that it would play ISO movies on my Qnap NAS, but it didn't see the.

Excellent. I especially like the automatic feature that takes over the TV when a DVD is inserted.

I don't know how we did it, but we actually lost our last blue ray player. This one is great also!

Great Blu-ray player. It is fast and quiet. Absolutely love it.
