Great compact Blu-Ray Player

I am not sure how the upscaling works since I do not have a 4k TV to watch it on.

I went looking for a dumb Blu Ray player because I already have a smart tv but couldn't find one. After a little research I picked the Sony because it was rated good and even though I probably won't use the smart feature I was ok with that.

This player works faster than the older model and comes with many pre-installed apps for easy access to media streaming services. Not connected to 4K or 3D TV, so some features are going unused. Great features and great value for the price.

Streaming works great with my 150 mbps internet connection. I've only watched a few Blu-ray discs, but have no complaints there either. Purchase price seemed reasonable. I'm pleased with the device.

It was a great price but did however feel a bit on the cheap side. Feature-wise this player is packed and it loads fast. The only thing I wish it had is an LCD display but it's otherwise perfect!

It has tons of apps, and it even has Opera browser for browsing the internet. I have no complaints whatsoever, and I've owned the DVD/Blu-ray player for like two or so months now. Because of its small form factor, it tucks neatly into small spaces.

However there are issues with this player, it's not fast in loading and sometimes the remote takes awhile to connect to the player. I"m not recommending this player.

Excellent Blu-ray player

There were some movies I wanted to buy that I could only find on Blu-ray. I saw this item and the fact that it is upscaling and 3D was awesome. The price was also a plus. Well worth the money.
