I looked around for awhile before I purchased this particular item. Sony does not disappoint.

Purchased this Blu-ray player with streaming mainly for the streaming features. Got the device home hit the was button on my wifi router and I was off and running. Menus are easy to navigate, remote let's you straight to netflix. Overall a great choice of receiver.

This is a great Blu-Ray player. Upconversion is solid. Works well with other Sony products.

works good for blue ray movie, when I was purchasing geek squad told me that this would play 4k movies ? I got 4k movie to watch and that is not true it up scales movie to 4k but will not play 4k movies !!

A satisfactory unit. Easy to work but made cheaply! Priced under $100.

I hadvthe samsung 4k upscaling player and it quit reading blu rays after about 6 months. So i bought this sony and i love it. Its not as fast as the samsung but i feel the picture quality is better and that its actually going to last until im ready to buy a true 4k player

This blue ray player is loaded with features at a price that makes it an exceptional deal. Its compact in size, looks good, and its a SONY. Using it mainly to run my Netflix / Hulu / Vudoo accounts thru SONY soundbar to TV. Eventually will run blue ray movies on it.

Sony invented bluray, went with it because of reputation, reliability and competative cost.

I bought this Blu-Ray player as a replacement for a nearly new Samsung Blu-Ray player that died an early death. The Sony player was easy to set up with my TV. It works very well. It would be nice to have a play time indicator visible, but that is a small issue.

Our DVD player quit working for us. My husband and I went shopping for a new one. We decided to purchase a blue ray player with built in wifi. This is a very cool option we did not have before. We have been very pleased with this player. The 3D option is very cool!

i like it. very nice BR player with lots of options for streaming. However, i do think Sony needs to include an optical audio out. that is the only reason for the 4 stars. not a fan of coaxial for sound, so may need to upgrade receiver. Overall, pleased with product and use it often.

Easy to connect and set up and now we can watch those favorite movies/series collections.

Let me preface my review by saying that this device DOES NOT PLAY 4K BLURAYS. With that said, it is a fantastic media device, and upscales blurays to 4K picture quality. The user interface is seamless and very intuitive. I recommend this device if you're not trying to play 4k blurays.

The 3d works great on both dvd's and Netflix. I use the Netflix app on this and works great!

I have a 4K TV and this Blu-ray player is a must have. The 4K upscaling that this Blu-ray player offers is a game changer and will even make your old DVDs look better. Just be sure that your HDMI cables are high speed and are 4K compatible before you buy this.

This Sony is a great media player. It does everything from playing your Blue Ray and other DVD's to streaming all of your Netflix, Amazon Prime and other streaming media. A great price alternative for those who don't have a smart TV and aren't ready to upgrade to one.

This is my first Blu-ray player and I am thrilled with it. It comes with a number of really great apps and works great. The remote is a bit odd and I am still getting used to which menu button to push to get back the to Blu-Ray menu. Other than that, I would recommend this to a friend.
