Our main TV is a $2000+ five year old Sony XBR with a separate Sony surround sound system which we love and by comparison we are not at all disappointed with the picture and sound of this "inexpensive" choice.

I need to call the store and speak with someone in the Geek Squad or repairs. I purchased the 3-year warranty. Will do this after Christmas is over. Other than that, I am really happy with my purchase.

It had enough HDMI ports for all my devices. The Bravia Sync with my Sony av receiver works well and reduces the complexity of my setup. I don't use the smart apps so I can't really comment on this.

We do like the TV, though it could be brighter for our patio. The "smart" aspect is not that easy to work with and still have not been able to synch my Samsung S6 Edge up to it...maybe someday.
