We really love the sound quality and the ease of functionality of the product

Coming from such a well known brand, and touting numerous features that would be great - if they worked - I had very high hopes for this unit... Unfortunately I was let down almost immediately after installing it. Perhaps I just got a bad unit - it happens - but virtually nothing worked as it should have after installing this unit... Perhaps one of the most frustrating things was that the memory would not retain it's settings more than a couple days; this means not only did I loose and have to re-enter all my presets, app info, and preferences (sometimes in the middle of usage), the infuriating DEMO MODE psychedelic strobe light like pattern returned constantly no matter what fixed color I chose. Replaced with an Android unit with the same features and haven't looked back. The new unit works flawlessly so I know it wasn't an installation issue, either.

I have not had a problem so far with sony products and even though this is on the lower end of the scale, it does what you need it to do.

The good and most important part: EXCELLENT sound! It is also very adjustable with a true 10 band EQ. Very nice. The bad: Adjusting anything is a serious pain in the butt with the knob and twists and clicks. I hate it. Really I do. Overall: I can't get over how great it sounds with aftermarket speakers attached to it so I'm dealing with the poor control system.

The radio has a tuner, c player and a built in USB outlet which is what i mainly needed; an added bonus is that whenever i want i can add bluetooth, sirius or any extra services i want; although the radio is intimidating at first, i was really pleased with the instructions that came in the booklet; what i needed was easily understood and immediatelyallowed me to enjoy the purchase

Bluetooth was simple to connect. The function on the unit is Very simple to use.

Does what it's supposed to do but the phonebook doesn't work for lg phones. That means i can't just scroll through my contacts and press call. I have to say call Amy to call her and we all know Google don't got the voice recognition thing down, which ultimately i end up yelling in the microphone. The only time that matters is when my window is down and my phone can't understand what I'm saying through my Bluetooth. The other minor thing is that it has all that space to put the time on the screen with everything else but instead i have to press display a couple times to see the time then again to see the song I'm playing on Pandora. I just think that the person who thought of that wasn't all the way there at the conference lol. Other than those minor details the system works flawlessly. Definitely happy about it and would highly recommend it if you can deal with yelling at the phone (if you a lg user like me) or pressing display a bunch to see the time.

After read the reviews, i had some mixed emotions about the sony for my car but i love the design. Couldn't be any happier with the purchase.
