Open box item, installed initially with no rear speakers. Finally got around to putting rears in and discovered after thorough hardware troubleshooting that the rear right channel does not work. Of course i am now out $100 and past the return period. Best Buy does not check returns to see if they actually work, or they don't bother to read the explanation for the return and just throw it back on the shelf for a discount. Pick one. I'll be buying a replacement deck elsewhere. Would not recommend buying this item from Best Buy since they don't do any quality checks and won't take it back after two weeks...hardly enough time to install it and make sure everything works.

Stereo works well in my old truck, but I wouldn't buy it again. Sound is just ok, nothing special. I found changing modes and scanning for stations to be a little awkward, but for an inexpensive device it works fine.

Pending install by Total Tech. 1 month 02-07-2023. Long wait. I can only give 3 Stars because of the long wait to install it.

I can’t review something that was never installed due to virus lockdown but gave 3 stars because I’ve never had problems with Best Buy or Sony products. I’ll get it installed after store starts installation again.

The display is dim and you can not increase the brightness

Was realy impressed with the quality of sound for the price of this head unit.

It was represented that this radio fits my 98 Ford F150. Well you can make a round peg fit in a square hole with hours of cutting and that is what has to be done to make this fit and ended up breaking my dash board in the process. The radio is actually about 1/2" taller than the factory opening, so you need to actually cut out the top of the dash which is both metal and plastic. You also need to cut out the entire pocket as it has a metal brace and plastic angle piece coming down. It took better than an hour with a sawsall and when I was trimming down the metal it broke the dash into a bunch of pieces. This radio should not be sold for this truck. Misrepresented that it fits. I have no issue with the radio itself, but now have to buy a new dash so a very expensive installation

Has a double din face but the mounting plate is for a single din slot. Had to modify the truck for it to fit.

The Sony head unit didnt have all the features that i needed at the time. I needed an android version that was capable of showing navigation and other apps that i currently use on my Samsung 9 cell phone. I returned it and purchased a pair of Kicker 6x9's instead for my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad cab that I recently rebuilt completely.

Tuner does not work. installed by Best Buy technician and the turner does not work - only good for aux cord. I can only play music through my phone. Blue tooth works fine.

What it doeant say is that the radio face is double DIN but the housing is a single DIN.

I was told install would take 1 hour on paper work . When i got there the guy that was to install the radio informed me. It would take 2 hours do to his broken leg. I walk to a place to sit and had wi fi a little bit from there . I ate lunch had no other ride to go home so sat there for 2 and half hours. To best buy due to cars not being able to see me was all most hit 2 x. I get back hes still not done with the install no place to sit but the white half back chairs in store. Over 3 hrs after install time he cones and gets me to say hes done i did not get to ask for pointers on how thing work. I just wanted to get home like yesterday being its 3 hours over install time and i just want to het home. His excuse was he was working on 1 leg do to a boot because he was hurt. No if your hurt stay home or send me to fairview store. Omg never will i ever even think about buying any thing that requires install.

A bit crazy but features are good and UI isn’t too bad either

Display too dim to see in the day time. Buttons are to small to read from drivers seat.
