This was a great deal for the cost. I was supprised how much it added to my surround movie experience. Close to equal to my previous sub at less than 1/5 of the cost.

And thjs on is no exception. I had another brand subwoofer and this one just blows the other one away. It is well built and looks nice in the living room. Along with the Sony 7.1 receiver I have, I get a nice theater sound at home. Would recomend it!

I can back it down if necessary, for higher bass-tuned music, with the volume knob on the back. That way, it doesn’t overpower the other loudspeakers. The low-pass filter does not hurt. In my opinion and application (bonus room turntable music system, with keyboard amplification) it is more than sufficient. At this price point, I would recommend this product.

It does OK, but doesn't hit as hard or have the deep bass like some of my previous subs (JBL, Klipsch)... get what you pay for. Works great for basic home theater surround sound system, but not the best for a great audiophile system when you really crank it up.

We truly appreciate your bass sound comparison between this subwoofer and other brands. Depending on the audio source, the bass sound of our SA-CS9 may not be so noticeable. However, some of these issues can be fixed by adjusting the LEVEL control (clockwise) to turn the volume up of the subwoofer so that you can hear the bass sound a little more than before. You may also find different sources will perform better than others due to different types of audio compression and transmission.

Powerful bass "itty bitty box"

I really like the volume and clarity without distortion. Auto 'sleep' is a nice feature. I paired it with a few Sony tower speakers (Sony - Core Series Dual 5" 3-Way Floorstanding Speaker), and I still love the experience months later.

I had that because it was all true. Well the sub has great low sound and quick. Finished off the missing sound from my mid level bookshelf. I recommend them highly if you're not 100% happy with your bookshelf or satelite and on a budget. Day and night difference between this sony and competitors in the same dollar range.

This one is great because it will let me limit how high the frequency is it will react too. It also gives plenty of depth.

I placed my sub in the corner where I don’t have a common wall because my music can be loud. It sounds perfect. I am a Sony fan! I also bought the bluetooth receiver so I can DJ from anywhere in my house and even with my Apple Watch.

Rattled my in wall entertainment center so I had to install musical foam to stop it. One alone sounds great, two made the difference. Auto on/off standby feature is perfect so I don't have to manually turn them off ever.
