sounds great - easy to set up. a little heavier than expected.

This is an excellent product for matching price and performance. Most of the other options were much too costly, over sized, and over powered. This is easy to connect and works with a wide varitety of products.

This review is part of the whole Sony core series. The sound coming from these speakers is fantastic. Paired with a Yamaha Atmos enabled v683 these speakers rattle my house with clear and full sound. Testing some movies I only have issue with the Sony subwoofer that has an auto off feature that is too aggressive. Sub turns off only to turn on halfway through with an audible click and have you miss most of the bass. Best thing to do is to leave the power saving move on the sub off and just leave it on all the time. I would gladly test a subwoofer for Sony to get this right. Great entry level speakers with awards of acclaim behind them and it shows. Overall I would buy these over if I have to. I did however buy them for half price as these regularly go on sale so make sure you pick them up at the discounted price.

The product is as advertised. It is compact, clear, & serves my purpose. The product is fairly priced & performs well with my components.

Picked up a Sonny Center-Channel speaker receiver over Christmas break, and now our home stereo system is on another level! Setting it up was a breeze, especially with my Sony receiver and wall speakers. The whole family's loving the upgraded sound experience!

Sounds better than smaller center channels. I also hear more details in the highs. It goes louder than the home theatre in a box center channels. I had to put crossover at 120 hrz. Good on sale price. This was the biggest one that would fit in my intertanment center.

Sounds excellent, other reviews made me hesitant but tried it out, my 7 ch is all Sony other than my towers, have the dolbys on the roof bookshelf’s in the back center is center, sound is good vibrant truly brings all movies to life. For $129.00 the center channel is more than worth it. It’s more about room size and balance than buying super expensive components.

This is a good center channel. It handles highs good and mids okay. What i mean by that is you can crank it up durring a movie just fine but when your liftening to bass heavy music it falls apart fast but when you keep the volume at a good volume it will handle bass just fine but its not a sub so aa long as you can crank the movies up I will say its good.

Powerful, clear compact center channel. This item doesn’t hog up a lot of space and sounds much larger than it is thanks to the pair of 4 1/2” quality Sony speakers in the unit. Finish is typical Sony - flawless. Sound is full and surprising.

Bought this as the centerpiece to my Sony 5.1 Surround System, sounds great. I had the Sony BDVE 3100 Home Theater prior to my new setup, the center speaker was much smaller and fit perfectly on the middle shelf of my entertainment center, but I literally had to slightly lift the glass shelf in order to fit this one in. No regrets though, it sounds and looks amazing. I would definitely suggest checking the dimensions on your setup before you buy this, just to be sure it fits.

sound was clear, even under higher power. small profile but big on sound. a bit on the heavy side but the quality of workmanship is evident.

I'm not an audiophile but I like good sound or what sounds good to me. :-) Also, I wasn't interested in spending too much. So, rock meet hard place. This was a good middle of the road option. Some call it lower end and more power to them and their wallet. I like it just fine. It certainly helped when it went on sale for a ridiculously fabulous price. All in all, I have no problems with it and the dialogue is clear when watching TV. I am aware of higher quality speakers out there but for my room size and budget, this works splendidly.

arrived fast, giod sound. bought open box like new condition but arrived with broken fromt cover mount, had to glue the broken parts, so condition wasn't as advertised

Previously had stereo system connected to TV. Sound was good but dialogue was often difficult to understand. This meant increasing the volume during a movie to hear dialogue but decreasing when music or sound effects were loud. The Sony center speaker solved the issue. Now I have a 3.0 stereo system and I don't have to adjust the volume during the movie. Will likely continue the upgrade to a 5:1.

I am very happy with my purchase, I have an older system and adding the center channel improved my listening experience. Good value for the money. Thanks

Excellent quality and great sound for a price far lower than competitors. I Bought this on a recommendation from Reddit and I don't regret it.

Great sound and not as big as most have had in the past. Would recommend this purchase. Easy to install also.

The speaker works really well. Connected to the receiver very easily helps with the tv and movie dialogues. This was about the smallest unit I could find to fit into the space I had. For the size and performance, the speaker does well.

I recently started piecing my 5.1 system and I didn't have a quality center speaker. I actually had a very cheap Yamaha Center speaker that did give me an idea of what a center speaker could do. Once I added this Sony Center speaker it added rich Highs and Mids to my system and I was amazed. I went from a boring amp and speaker system to a entertainment system. Music sound great, Formula 1 sounds great and movies sound great. Excellent purchase for the price for a starter system. I don't recommend piecing a system together, make sure everything matches. I started w/an amp I had and some monoprice speakers. I'm going to get a full blown Sony System come tax time, but this system does the job until I can get better.
