This is a great center channel speaker. It brings out the clarity of the voices, making it easy to hear what people are saying. Yet it still has enough bass to handle all the central sounds, in your home theater system.

This Center Channel perfectly matches my Sony stereo speakers and Surround Sound Amplifier. Life like sound during movies excellent rendition of music highly recommend it

Got this along with two bookshelf speakers. I noticed the sound difference right way from my 12 year pioneer speakers. Worth every penny. I have a Sony receiver and the volume does not need to be turned up much to enjoy the full sound.

Wonderful sound, excellent add to be center speaker for your surround system. It can be placed nicely with a suitable furniture and looks elegant. The crispiness of music can be enriched with a subwoofer for pure perfection.

I'm very pleased with this Sony Core center speaker it sounds great with a mid-range ($500+) A\V Receiver. It's well built the speaker box is heavy and solid. The vocals are crisp and clear and lows are in the mid range. You can connect your wires with banana inputs just remove the rubber inserts in speaker terminal. I do recommend this center speaker..

This center channel sounded good and had great bass. The voices came in clear and is a nice, smaller speaker.

My new surround sound receiver required a lot more juice for the center speaker so I found this one. It is pretty large in size, but that also means it can handle more wattage and gives crystal clear booming sound to the dialogue tracks on most movies. It's sturdy and reliable. Months now, it has been the workhorse of my surround sound system.

This was on sale for half price and I just purchased the sony 725 watt receiver a week before. This really brings out the voicing on the surround sound and was an amazing deal and looks great on my TV stand just under the TV. I could not have made a better purchase at this price!!!

This speaker was easy to set up and sounds good with my vintage sound system. My 5.1 system is cobbled together from a Pioneer receiver/amplifier, the Sony center speaker, big Advent speakers, Bose indoor/outdoor speakers used as surrounds and a Jensen subwoofer.

Coming from a Sony SS-CN3000P the SSCS8 blows it out of the water it’s literally 4 times the size, I always had trouble hearing the vocals on the 3000p, that is no longer an issue with the SSCS8. Make sure you have speaker wires, this speaker doesn’t include it.

Love this thing, like all great systems you must tweek your settings to the room, and it jams. you can always hear the speech more clearly than usual at times. has great base capability as well. Another fine product from Sony!

Excellent center channel speaker from Sony. Great sound and aesthetic. For the price, I’m quite impressed with the sonic output.

Replacing a BIC dv32 clr, needless to say there will be an improvement. But @ 1st not much. A few weeks to the let the speakers break in and (NICE). Another reason aside from sale price & size worked,was a review where someone liked this over the Definitive ProCenter 1000. That definately the klincher. No regrets

I was surprised by the outstanding sound quality of this speaker. It fits perfectly below the TV and offers an fantastic value for its price.

I needed a center channel for my new home. Surround sound is built into the walls but I had to bring my own center speaker. For the price, this thing puts our quality sounds with the woofer giving off just enough bass.

I purchased this center channel to match the Sony tower speakers I purchased at the same time. I know there are other brands that are slightly more expensive, but I decided to give this one a try (also thanks to BB killer return policy). As you know the center channel is a highly important piece of any sound experience. This center channel (mated to my Sony STRDH790 receiver), is a win-win situation! I am extremely impressed with the clarity! I don't know how Sony does it for the price point but thank goodness they do! Again for a few dollars more I could have opted for a more expensive option (outside the Sony brand), but I really don't feel I have to! Sound is subjective to the listener of course, but I am very pleased! Thank you, Sony!

Great surround sound setup and a very good value for the money. I bought all of the components for the Sony surround sound setup and it’s a great system for the money. Take the time to set it up correctly and you will really enjoy this system.
