This is going to be the top pick for no-hassle floorstanding speakers to buy in this price range. I mainly use them to listen to music, and they produce a clear, well-balanced sound. If you are wanting to feel the bass, then you will have to add a subwoofer. These are front-ported speakers, so they will work in most room configurations. With bottom or rear-ported speakers, you have to worry about speaker placement in relation to walls and other objects.

So far the sound quality is good,especially in gaming,it is very easy to hook up,very straight forward and looks good or should I say neat as part of an entertainment system.

Bought these as a floor sample good bass great mid also bought the bookshelf speakers that have better high range but all together great sound

I’m a big fan of Klipsch and Martin Logan. Also KEF and B&W are in my wish list. But after hear several times these little towers on my local Best Buy, I had no choice. Are there better speakers ? Yes, there are. I got four towers for $100 each on Black Friday. For $100, you won’t find any other tower speaker in the world with the sound of these one’s. Does Klipsch sounds better ? Maybe but for four times more money and you won’t get four times better sound. For movies, you don’t need more than these speakers. They sound amazing. For music I added two subs from the same series with the front towers. They sound good, not awesome but enough for enjoy my musics. For the price range, these towers are the best speakers in the world.

I was not expecting to to like this tower speaker, especially after reading and watching negative so many negative reviews. But for the price, I purchased a set, a gave them a try. My opinion has completely changed! Initially, I had a pair of Sony SSCS5's but after break-in, and trying to get them "dialed in" for my living room, they were always lacking in the lower mid-range frequency. Well, these tower speakers did the trick! Music and movies are audibly clear, smooth sounding, and blend well with my subwoofer. A great purchase for the price and sound quality.

Well packaged, delivered in perfect condition, easy to unpack with directions on box. Standard hook up with very well made HD connection posts. They sound very good, great value.

For the money this is a great value. The sound is just fine for the small room I am using them in. I am a sound snob and expect great quality. These are just about there. I am totally happy with the purchase and encourage anyone to buy them for such a great price if you are not using them for a large space.

I'm building a home theater system and these Sony front speakers definitely delivers clear sound and doesnt take up a lot of space. I recommend these speakers!

Sounds quality is amazing and can really transform your entertainment center. I usually max out volume but ever have to with a set of these speakers. Really a great buy.

Comparable to the Boston Acoustics I already had. For the price (Black Friday deal) they are outstanding. Does a decent job of filling a large room with sound, and the highs are pretty clear.

This is a great speaker for the price! Got this on black Friday for $100... it sounds powerful and clear over the small Onkyo's that it replaced! Highly recommended it to anybody that wants to upgrade on a budget, especially if you're purchasing it on Black Friday! Definitely a bargain for $100!

Love these speakers! The sound is great. The only drawback is that since the speakers are so narrow, they are unstable on our medium pile carpet. Having cats, we were worried about them getting knocked over. We used wood, painted it black, & created a base for each of the speakers. They are much more stable now.

These speakers punch way above their weight. The key is to have a good subwoofer to go with them. I listen to mine with an SVS subwoofer and it is a great combination? Are these audiophile speaker? Nope. Do they make for a good 2.1 system, I think so.

Nice clean sound. Smart looking and they do not take a lot of floor space.
