Good entry-level/ budget friendly option

They work great in my apartment as the L&R channnels of my surround system. You'll want a standalone subwoofer for the good deep bass though.

I now have these as my surrounds and bought the Tower speakers and they sound amazing. I particularly like them for music (e.g. 50's Jazz and Classical). They sound amazing as left and right speakers in my 5.1. I will eventually buy the Sony Atmos AV receiver and get the Sony Atmos speakers to sit atop these. Sony hit it out of the park . . .

I love the price and they can handle my home theater receiver putting 200 watts each. If you want you can also use them as a surround back speaker set up on a 7.2 channel system.

I think the positive reviews really show what this speaker is about. I meant to get Klipsch as I have their center speakeranf book speakers but these were on sale so I purchased two and so far after half a year I've been pretty impressed. I've always been a fan of Sony speakers and receivers and I've never been disappointed, thankfully. Highly recommended!

Buy what you need!!!!

I always said I was to poor to buy anything cheap . I spent plenty on the other two brand’s but when I was done I bought these they have plenty of bass and very good high end for tv gaming and just listening to music . I found a use for the bookshelf speakers but I love these.

Tower speakers

There are bigger and better ones but they also cost a lot more so I feel like these are fine for the space that I put them in. There is no distortion even at high volume

Incredible tower speaker!

I finally was able to complete my surround by moving my SSCS5's to the rear and have these as my front L/R. What can I say but 'wow'! These made a huge change in the way the sound comes from the front! These speakers definitely don't let you down. They are fantastic addition to your surround sound system.
