Can be used as starter for surround sound if I choose to go that way in the future. I am able to hear things that were not at all audible with old speakers. Bit pricey but well worth it.

Great speakers

I bought them to replace a set of older Bose 501 speakers, and these are far superior in sound without taking up a lot of space. The 3-way midrange capability adds a lot to the sound quality, plus I was fortunate enough to get them on sale. Very happy with this purchase.

Good speakers, good sound

I would definitely recommend these to anyone in need of tower speakers (at a good price) with good sounds.

Great speakers

These ended up sounding way better than I ever expected (front L and R speaker of my 5.1 system) and made a huge difference in my surround sound compared to the Sony bookshelf speakers that they replaced. I am very happy with them especially for the piece (got them at 50% off, some weekend sale. So they were $75 a piece and I’m so happy with them I would be happy paying full price for the excellent sound these give off).
