I bought these on a Black Friday deal for $99 each and I couldn't be happier. The sound is great and I feel totally immersed in the shows. Even at the current price of $159 each I would highly recommend these.

Also, you cannot go wrong with the rich traditional Sony sound and quality in these speakers... We usually use them for KARAOKE entertainment in our living room...

The sound helps to fill the room. I definitely will purchase another speaker in the future to compliment this speaker. Amazing floor standing speakers

I originally had a Yamaha SP1800 setup and swapped these in (and the Sony core series center speaker) and I love the sound improvement. If you're going to get a pair of these, be sure to get a decent center speaker too (since that's where all of the dialogue comes). I feel like these are best for music but they sound great for movies and TV shows.

There are awesome speakers out there from Klipsch, Yamaha, Kef, ... but you will have to pay much more to get them and unless you can and your ears are sensitive enough to tell the difference, buy these intead and put the extra money you save into other things.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two (2) of these alone with two (2) of the matching powered subs, one (1) matching Center Channel speaker, and two (2) of the matching 3-way surround speakers, and two of the matching Dolby Atmos speakers......along with my Sony Atmos Home Theater receiver, and my Sony Bravia 900 Series 4K TV, I now have a killer home theater system and it was amazingly affordable.....

I paired them with a new center and woofer. I use the old front speakers for the new rear speakers. What a different world. These speakers a amazing. Both are great speakers for the price and perfect for smaller rooms.

Clear Sound, Heavy Bass, and Best Value!

Hired the Best Buy in-home tech to create a build for our movie room, which is not that big (12 x 24'), but these speakers make going to a theater to get good sound...obsolete. A must have your small to medium home theater. You will not be disappointed!
