Called ED Pters and this was his recommendation. Sound quality is very good and they look good as well. Thanks Ed and Best Buy! Please continue to sell quality products like Sony. Quality is my first concern. If you buy quality the price is secondary.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Our main speakers were 28 years old...Could not believe it, but when I went to adjust the speakers, we saw that the membranes on the speakers were falling apart. Got these speakers to save space and their sound is amazing. It was like we had an entirely different sound in the room. We now have 5 Sony speakers paired with a Sony receiver and we couldn't be more pleased.

Great Speakers

I paired these speakers with a 200 watt stereo and they sound amazing. I also got them on sale for about $115 each which is a steal, highly recommended!

Great speakers

Honestly I was blown away at how great they sounded. Very impressive. I'm not a huge fan of Sony speakers but I gave these a try as they were on sale at the time and the klipsch I wanted were way more expensive. Happy I went this route.

They have a full range sound and are very crisp. The one thing I noticed is that you need a powered subwoofer with these speakers otherwise it would sound a bit lacking. For me though these are great. I use them in a 7.2.2 Surround setup and couldn’t be happier

Excellent Sound & Linear Footprint

Excellent rich sound quality at an affordable price. I could have easily paid more for JBL or HK brand speakers but the sound difference is negligible for my needs.

Sounds pretty good!

Stand-alone, they actually sound pretty nice. They're not too punchy in the bass but they're very vocal and cover the highs very well in my home theater experience. They're not too tall and blend in well in my home decor.

I was shopping for 3-way speakers and couldn't find the right match in a smaller bookshelf option. Saw these in my local BB and fell in love. I listen to a wide variety of genres, from blues to Bach and beyond. These speakers are great performers with them all.

Got these on sale and couldn't be happier. You can crank these up and get no distortion, even at low volumes you have no issue hearing the audio. I have these paired with a ELAC 2.0 Center and a Martin Logan Sub. Couldn't be happier to watch movies/listen to music

Love my new front speakers

I installed them in a few seconds (literally, as I just moved my old speakers and connected these Sony) and the difference was huge, they have a pretty good bass and a great mid-level a high tone speakers. For their price range they are definitely the best option.
