Since they're designed to work with smaller surround speakers which can sit on top, I would've expected some type of latch or notching to better secure the speakers together, which it currently lacks, but overall these speakers work well.

Presently breaking them in, and the sounds seems to improve with time. A great addition to my secondary sound system. A bargain if you can catch them on sale. Love them.

It is a really good speaker for my turntable set up. It is only one speaker so I just purchased a second one.

Glad I did. Paired with a Yamaha RX-V483 receiver, Polk center speaker a bookshelf speakers, and a Sony sub. They have a clean, accurate sound and sound great with the other speakers, for movies and music. Highly recommend.

We have a nice Sony receiver, self powered subwoofer and DirecTV. These speakers do the job nicely and it is a balanced and sweet sounding system.

But I've been a long time fan of Sony, and these don't disappoint. Volume is more than sufficient, I haven't tested the upper limit but it meets my upper limit without distortion. Also using a Sony receiver to power them.

Quality Sound Well Priced

You've got just that with these Sony floor-standing speakers. I bought "4" (L, R, and the two surrounds)...........really pleased with the sound. And the price at Best Buy is tough to beat!

Recently revamped my home theater in my basement and hooked these up to a Marantz NR1609 receiver and they sound great!
