Oh boy, good simple fun!!! I use 4 of these, and let me tell you, the sound is perfect for my set up. Crystal clear, for dialog, enough bass as to not disturb the rest of the house. I don't have to use night mode on my receiver.

I recently bought these front speakers to replace some front speakers I have had (also Sony) for almost 15 years. The problem I had with my old speakers was that the combination of levels regarding Treble/Bass was that if you increase the level for the speaker, the Bass would go through the roof. With these new speakers, it is now the right combination, and they are more crisp regarding the sound quality.

I bought these over a month ago and I am very pleased. I looked into various brands including Klipsch but decided to buy these because most of my equipment is Sony and they have always performed very good. I can honestly say this do sound very good indeed even at high volumes. I play my music in 2 channel stereo and it sounds outstanding with just enough bass to make me happy. I highly recommend these speakers if you are on a budget.

Got these towers at 1/2 off along with their bookshelf versions and the Sony core center channel speaker. Have it paired up with a 15' powered subwoofer and it really sounds amazing. Very open and crisp with a slightly forward midrange and wide sound stage.Makes a great 5.1 system especially at it's price of under $500

I bought these to replace the core series bookshelf speakers, which I moved to be my surround speakers. They are very loud, easy to set up (terminal connections are screw-ins) , and have great bass response. They are paired with a STR-DH540 with the remainder of the core series (2 bookshelf and sub) and my entertainment room sounds great!

You need these in your life! I don’t even need rear speakers with these! I got these on sale and couldn’t be happier with this set of tower speakers! Clear sound and bass is decent without a subwoofer. I tried with and without a sub but it sounds good regardless.

These speakers sound surprisingly good! I've definitely heard better as my dad had a technics system that was amazing back in the 90s. But they are warm and crisp with a full Soundstage on my Yamaha rs 202. They have enough bass to meet my needs. Its not subwoofer bass but its still full bodied. Don't fool yourself though with these speakers, if you feel you might need a subwoofer get the subwoofer. You will be let down if you expect these to thump like a subwoofer.

It was time to update, I have the Sony 65 inch 4k TV, GREAT, so now I have a new 75 inch TV 4k, also purchased the tower speakers, sub woofer, 1015W receiver and 800 4k DVD player. WOW what a system, it's great when somebody puts a system together and all you have to do is purchase it. And I did, great price, great service and great quality. All I have to do is enjoy it, And boy do I.

I'm currently using 6 of these along with the SS-CS8 center and 2 SS-CSE atmos speakers, with 2 SA-CS9 subs in an 9.2 atmos configuration. This combination produces an amazing sound quality, extremely well balanced, no bright highs and deep natural bass, with excellent soundstage placement. When used for home theater it creates a truly immersive environment.

I’ve been an audiophile for ages and ordered these Sony towers to rebuild my system. I knew these were entry level and I ended up giving it to my sister, however they deserve recognition as these can slightly fulfill the room and keep a very nice and gentle flow of acoustics. They are perfect for her as she lives in a large condo and these do not have a punch. If you want that you’ll need to get a sub ( I’ve order the 10” Sony). That improves a whole lot but still not enough power to shake the walls of my house while watching a move or listening to music. Therefore, this is a great set but don’t expect a boom. I believe these would be great a a condo or a small townhouse but not designed to be part of an actual movie theater. FYI, the sub is a great addition and gives you a decent thump, just. It a powerful one. I’ve ended up Klipsch Premier 8” 600 watts, think of a wrecking ball hitting your house, no sub. So yes. Big difference in price, power and space.

Picked up two of these to replace my two bookshelf speakers in my set, and man ... great decision. The sounds is very crisp, with a nice wide range in playback. This is especially true when you compare speaker towers of the same price. Sony did a bang up job, dollar for dollar, with these speakers. Definitely worth it!

The speakers not only looks good but sounds great. The sound clarity is exceptional, good value for this speaker, it exceeded my expectations.

Works wonderfully. Sound is good and at an affrodable price on sale. Might even add a center speaker.

For the price, these are excellent. Provide full and immersive sound for a medium-sized living room. Using them for more than a year and sound amazing every time I turn them on. Great buy especially if you don't want to spend too much for little gains in sound quality.

These are the best sounding Floor Speeches I have heard for under 200 dollars. I got them on sale for 99 dollars each which is a great buy. I ALSO end up buying a sony bravia 65 inch 800 4k tv. Got a open box buy didnt have the legs in the box. Wasnt a issue put it straight up on my wall. I think I stole the tv because I only paid 645 out the door. I was so happy BB Employee also give me 2 discounts one for 77 dollars no stand plus a 15 dollars just to make me happy. I told if he took sumin off it I would buy so he made the sale. So I'm a happy camper because the tv is picture perfect quality. With the new sony floor speakers I can honestly couldn't be more happier. Plus the speakers are hook up to my sony 790 receiver Thank You Best Buy I can die a happy man. Plus you made my wife even happier because I'm happy. Happy Husband Happy Life are does that go the another way not sure. But I give all 3 sony products a 5 out of 5 !!! I also saved over 1200 dollars buying all on sale. Will be smiling all the way into the new year.

I bought these speakers as part of revamping my entire surround system. These replaced some 20 yr old Technics I had. They definitely sound cleaner than my old speakers. They also take up much less space than my old speakers and look better. The Technics handle bass better. These speakers definitely need some type of sub to help them with bass reproduction. I have an older sub that works with them and lets these speakers not worry about having to handle that chore. A good speaker at a great price is how I'd classify them.

Great product on sale at half price! Amazing sound for an entry level speaker. Fast and easy curbside pickup from Best buy. I was concerned about bass level from these but my fears were unfounded. These speakers deliver clear bass and exceptionally clear mid-range

Bought these with the two small top speakers, receiver, center speaker, sub and two shelf speakers... our neighbors may not think so but this thing sounds amazing!! The price was great for the quality and everything we got. Highly recommend this sound system.
