Works wonderfully. Sound is good and at an affrodable price on sale. Might even add a center speaker.

I bought these speakers as part of revamping my entire surround system. These replaced some 20 yr old Technics I had. They definitely sound cleaner than my old speakers. They also take up much less space than my old speakers and look better. The Technics handle bass better. These speakers definitely need some type of sub to help them with bass reproduction. I have an older sub that works with them and lets these speakers not worry about having to handle that chore. A good speaker at a great price is how I'd classify them.

Great product on sale at half price! Amazing sound for an entry level speaker. Fast and easy curbside pickup from Best buy. I was concerned about bass level from these but my fears were unfounded. These speakers deliver clear bass and exceptionally clear mid-range

Bought these with the two small top speakers, receiver, center speaker, sub and two shelf speakers... our neighbors may not think so but this thing sounds amazing!! The price was great for the quality and everything we got. Highly recommend this sound system.

What a great value! I bought two of these floor standing speakers at half price. They have very good bass. They give me that movie theater experience at home. They sound very good for music too!

The Sony Core Series tower speakers have excellent dynamic range, clarity, and precise sound reproduction. I wanted these for a long time and when they went on sale in November 2017 I took advantage of the incredible pricing. I am glad I did. Because of their quality, they would have been a bargain even at three times what I paid for them. The one drawback is style: they are housed in vinyl-clad wood that makes them look cheap. Fortunately, the awkward styling doesn't affect their sound. Overall, they are solid speakers at bargain prices. Recommended.

Wanted new speakers and picked these up same day. Simple to hook up, looks great and sounds fantastic. Would definitely recommend these speakers.

They are in the break in period phase but they sound great. An audio head friend thought they were awesome. I'd like the tweeter to be a cone to cut off the sound, but for the price their a great buy. Matched them with a Sony DN1070 and Sony 10" Subwoofer.

Promotional purchase/50 percent discount is the only way to go. Through a Bluetooth connection these speakers are loud and clear with a pretty good midrange; playing my fuzzy warbles on a Marantz turntable, the volume has to go up almost double—that’s okay, these speaks can handle it.

The sound of these floor standing speakers is awesome, great bass, great tweeters and super tweeters make special effect of movies totally awesome and they are space saving, doesn't take up a lot of room on either side of the receiver component.

These are great floor standing speakers. I'm currently only using a 2 channel setup because it's more than sufficient for my needs and the volume as well as audio quality produced by these speakers is stellar without breaking the bank. Great product.

These speakers sound amazingly good for the cost - nice and crisp, good sound stage. The size is not overpowering, good base response. The highlights are vocals and strings in well produced music, an outstanding value at this price.

These are amazing for the price. These are my first floorstanding speakers and boy do they deliver. They sound crisp and clear. Music and movies sound spectacular. At the price point, they're hard to beat. I got these price adjusted for 100 bucks each! So happy with them.

Using with a subwoofer which creates good bass when combined with the excellent woofers. The treble/high tones are not special. Sony touts their special super tweeter......not so special. Buy it on sale, not worth the standard price.......works well in the small room they are in at this time.

I will need to start this off by informing you all that I own home theater and sound equipment in almost every room of my house. My media room has a Klipsch Reference 7.1 system using a pair of RF-26. While my family room uses a pair of Bowers & Wilkins 683 S2. The Sony Core speakers does create solid sound for highs and mids, but the bass does not go very deep. This means for most music and as part of a home theater setup there will be a need for a sub. I tested these speakers with a mix of music from country, R&B, EDM, and jazz. Vocals come through clearly, instruments are distinct, but without the added on subwoofer, the drums and bass guitar did not reach the listener very well. This is a very good entry floor standing speaker. The entire Sony Core set plays very well with the other parts and can be purchase for less than $500 when everything is on sale. I wished they had a smaller bookshelf speaker for back surrounds for people without a large space to fill or have to put them next to their seating. I bought them for an entry level set up for a friend who wanted to upgrade from a HT in a Box. I would recommend them if you find them on sale with the matching subwoofer for around $300 to $350.

I bought two of these to go with a home theatre set for my 65" sony 850f TV. Completes the vertical sound component. Loving it so far with all the other speakers. Best of all, these were on sale for 50% off so it was a steal. You can't go wrong with Sony!

There are alot of more expensive tower speakers for surround sound- these are excellent, esp for the price. Sound great.
