This allows me to adjust my zoom without having to go to the camera. I've used up to 50' away. Works great every time. I now have 2 of them. Just pair each to its own camera, they don't interfear with each other.

It has buttons to easily access and take pictures and videos without touching the same buttons on the camera anymore. Caveat is it is kinda bulky, heavy and a bit on a pricier side.

Perfect compliment to an RX100 M7

I find the movie button on the RX100 is way too small with the result that sometimes I am not shooting when I want to be and other times I am shooting by accident. The grip solves that by having a nice large record button. I keep this attached to my RX100 and use almost all the time. Connecting the camera and the grip was quick and easy. The included memory card is a fast UHS-II card.

Kinda having some issues as for as it staying in a good position the legs can move a lot causing me to keep Fixing it .. but I Had to order in store for pick up. The original one I purchased came with a defective SIM card. When I called customer service they told me to go in and exchange for a new one and I did just that with no issues or hassles from the gentlemen at the store.
