I purchased the camera as an open item before heading out of town. Its a nice camera for the price, and transferring pictures back to my NAS was a breeze thanks to the built in Wifi. Though i do wish it had a better optical zoom.

If you decide to buy this camera it is a great camera, the view finder added also helps if your out doors and trying to see your shot. after taking several pictures you will see for your self, also has a great zoom

I have all Sony cameras. Tried a Canon, returned it for this Sony DSC-HX80. I love the adjustable viewer (great help on sunny) 18.2 Mega pixels gives me a lot to work with. Great camera for beginners and pros.

Camera takes great outdoor pictures but disappointed with the coloring of indoor pictures. Flash is also extremely bright so it hurts my kids eyes when taking pictures of them.

This camera is very close to what I currently own and I was looking to replace it with a camera with a better zoom and mega pixel capability and this camera does just that. Very easy to just point and shoot.

I know it’s meant to take selfies and all that good stuff but it can handle a lot of bearings. My co-workers and I have dropped it many times and it still works

I use this camera for concerts. I take pictures and video and this works great. The audio sounds good and the pictures look good in low light. I also like the size of the camera, it fits right in your pocket.

The camera produces fast and nice pictures. Particularly, the trick of taking several pictures to create a single night shot work very well. The only drawback is that sometimes it cancels the panoramic shots in the middle.

This is just a new 4k camera so there is no other choice with it being a sony camera and with the latest features like wifi and bluetooth i just had to upgrade.

My 11 year old wanted a camera to vlog. She had specific features she wanted and this camera had them all. She loves it.

This camera is pretty good. I bought it to replace one that I dropped that was a few years older. Miss my old one though. Would recommend if price is right.

This camera does all that I could ask for. For the price and size it does more than I expected. Would recommend to anyone who is just starting out as it does a lot but isn't hard to learn.

Great camera, the flash really doesn't enhance the camera which is pretty good in low light.

Not a camera for beginners. If you're looking for an easy point and shoot, this is not it. You have to know a little something about camera settings or be willing to learn to get a really good picture from this.

This unit replaced a 6 year old Sony Cyber shot. Sony has really improved the product. Better distance, more pixels for a clearer shot. Love the selfie feature.

My daughter is using this camera for mobile uploads, and it has many of the same features as the high-end models at a much better price.

Haven't used yet. So can't review yet. Had similar one several years ago and loved it, so I'm sure I will find this one great also.

Camera was a gift for my almost 13 year old granddaughter. She absolutely loves it. "Best Christmas gift." Seems to be making lots of videos, etc. May have talent in this creative outlet.

I looked at U-Tube files on my camera and saw where ones reviewed had a hand strap. My camera came without a strap, I feel short changed. I am going back to the store and show my camera was not fully equipped.

Purchased for my daughter who wanted to document her vacation and become more of a vlogger. She is very happy with it!
