This tiny little camera is the hotshot camera for taking videos in lowlight. The 1.8 f is incredible for recording but has a limit on how long you can record at the highest setting. But what a picture ! The size of the camera very small so get yourself a small rig grip for more control !!! Really sweet take everywhere camera !!

Not sure it was the setting on the camera but sunset pictures in which I took were nothing close to what my iPhone had to end up taking. Camera shutting off after only 1 month of having it.

I love this camera. Here is why: Image quality is superior. Zeiss glass is real. Shoots Raw. Fits in my pocket (barley) but better than the other options. Flip screen to shoot from the hip. Perfect amount of zoom, not overkill. I love Canon color, but can't beat the features this packs for the price. Cons - it's a slippery little sucker. Might want to add a small sticky grip from Amazon to help hold.

Light weight, can take selfie pictures. Enjoy it. Bring it with me for the hiking trip.

I just picked up my new Sony RX 100 M5A and right out of the box, I noticed a dark patch when taking photos. It’s a speck of dust on the sensor. It’s the same issue that I had with another Sony RX 100 that I sold for that same reason. I’m hoping they will let me return this one for another one. I love the Sony RX 100 but these are notorious for having dust on the sensor which affects the photos.

I purchased the Sony Cybershot in December 2023 and had high hopes for it, but my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Within a month, the camera fell off a tripod (due to wind) and the lens dented. I had purchased Best Buy’s insurance, so I brought it in for repair. Despite paying for insurance, I was charged an additional $80 for repairs, which felt like a complete rip-off. When I got the camera back, the flash never worked—not even once. I returned to Best Buy, and the staff member I spoke to was incredibly unprofessional. Instead of addressing my concerns, he dismissed the camera as “cheap” and “old” (even though I bought it brand new in 2023). To make matters worse, he started showing me photos he had taken on his own Sony camera, as if that would somehow fix my problem. It was completely inappropriate and made me feel unheard and disrespected. The final straw was when he pointed out that the camera was physically falling apart—something I hadn’t even noticed before. He offered no solution except to pay another $80 for repairs, which I refused. The entire experience with Best Buy’s repair service has been frustrating, dismissive, and unprofessional. Their staff clearly doesn’t care about customer concerns, and their repair process is a joke. I would not recommend buying this camera or relying on Best Buy for repairs. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for both products and service.

This is a perfect replacement, if not better to my 10 year old Sony Cyber-shot.

Camera is nice, but I find that I use my iphone more. This doesn't connect to an external mic which is a bummer when you need really good audio. It still takes great pics though.

I came from HX 80 with similar body and this takes getting used to; great images but at cost of heft

Quality is good. But the camera overheats easily and the video mode shuts down automatically. I needed continuous recording without stopping.
