Great little pocket camera with a 30x zoom

My recent purchase of the HX99 is no exception. What a great little camera! You can't beat a Zeiss lens for quality photographs and the 30x zoom is amazing for a camera that fits in a pocket! Sony is constantly upgrading their cameras with the latest technology and the HX99 has lots of new features to explore.

Best Buy’s handling of this transaction has been as expected. My main concern is the editing software shown in the literature is no longer available or supported. Sony has not been helpful. I have not been able to find much documentation for the “new” editing software. This is no reflection on Best Buy

The over quality of the camera felt cheap. Feels very much like plastic. No wifi transfer for photos. A bit over priced for its price point in my option.

Best Buy doesn't stock the batteries and won't ship them to me in Hawaii. Poor support. Recommend you check for spare batteries before purchasing and purchase with the camera so no surprises.

Great Mid Price Camera

I also wanted to be able to shoot in RAW so I could edit my photos as I see fit. This was a great option for me! It's nice and compact and very easy to use. The picture quality is great, it keeps up with (or maybe even surpasses) my iPhone 13 Pro. Quality of zoomed in pictures is good and if you know the proper settings, it works well for casual concert photography as well.

Especially the built in picture effects t had built in which made for some very cool pictures. I would highly recommend. Not too large and very compact. The optical zoom was awesome also . This was my personal favorite. Wish they would make another new one day. Great job Sony

Hardest charger to find in the WORLD!

My rating is only low because I lost the charger and I’ve been to several different locations to purchase another one and was constantly sold the wrong cord. Why is the charger so difficult to find. I even asked the manager to order one for me online and after waiting forever for shipping wrong cord AGAIN! I just want to be able to use my camera this is so annoying.
