I purchased this more for the wife who just wants a camera to be simple. It is ok for that. Very simple controls. Decent image quality for the size and price. If you want the best low light results or better controls then look elsewhere. ......also be prepared to pay for it

This is a great camera good quality small and efficient. My only complaint is the price, while the camera is great with outstanding features I wish it was at least $100 cheaper since its still a compact camera.

This is a great quality camera if you are looking for a small camera. Videos are great. Pictures show slot of detail. There are a lot of manual settings if you choose to take out of auto.

A wonderful compact point and shoot. Smallest camera for the specs offered. Completely happy with purchase.

I've had this camera less than two months, having purchased it just prior to a cruise vacation, and after seeing the great (customer and article) reviews of the initial model RX100. Now, some 1100 pictures later, I'm a true believer, Ease of use, large variety of special features, excellent picture quality easily overcome the only two problems I have. One is the relative size of the camera as opposed to a "standard" point-and-shoot. It is larger, of course, but still fits on a case hanging from my belt -- so that's a minor getting-used-to problem. The only real problem is the lack of a actual viewfinder, which I hope the RX100 model 3 will eventually solve....

Love this camera. My pictures and videos has quality that surpasses my expectations.

Other cameras that I have had have been more intuitive.

I like this camera. Takes good pictures. The cons are that the flash is right where you put your hand to hold the camera and the wireless upload does not work with the iphone 6.

Great features. Traded down sized from a Nikon D 90 to have a camera with all the features I need. Only had a standard 3" LCD screen no viewfinder but has not been a problem especially with tilt screen. This is my 10th digital camera and the best ever.

This sony camera is very nice and takes good pictures, I had a little problem with the auto focus hunting to much for this high price camera.

Great Camera with massive feature set for average user. Clarity is awesome and anyone can use, but you can be overwhelmed by the amount of adjustments to be made. You need to go to the internet to find the optimal settings.

if you need the best that will fit in your pocket, this is it. Shoots RAW and is fairly fast shooter.

This is a good camera that takes good pictures, but I find it hard to use. That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It is a bit over complicated. I could play with the many different settings all day. Even the Automatic mode has sub settings, but the end results are very good.

It was exactly what I wanted for backpacking. I have used it, and plan on using it on my travels. :) Thank you to GEEK squad for helping me out too!

I bought this camera for Disney World and it worked perfect. The HD video is remarkable. It looks unbelievable on a big screen TV. Fork over the money and get this DSLR in your pocket camera. You won't regret it.
