Customers are saying
Customers frequently mention the Cyber-shot RX100 IV's impressive image quality, compact size, and excellent 4K video capabilities. The camera's small size and user-friendly interface make it easy to use, while its low light performance and amazing screen images are also highly praised. On the downside, some customers find the price to be on the higher side, and the zoom and battery life could be improved.

Sony RX100M4 Best Compact Camera Out There
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Top of the line Zeiss lens, fantastic low light performance, built-in pop-up viewfinder (genius!), tiny but powerful. Wi-Fi, NFC, compatible with Sony Playmemories Apps. Best available pocketable camera on the market, at the moment. :)

everything is awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.camera is super quick to focus even in low light small and compact but heavier and a bit larger than previous versions the flip lcd helps when you want to take those selfies just make sure you watch out for which sd card you buy for this camera. it has to have a really high write speed and also has to be over 32gb in size, or it wont record slow mo or 4k video. i

The BEST portable camera on the market right now!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was purchased along with the Sony A7II, and I have found that this little camera is perfect even though it is not a DSLR. The quality of the photos is great for a camera without a swappable lens. This camera has amazing quality and shutter speed for something so portable. Obviously, the price is a factor... at ~$1k, I would recommend it for those who want DSLR-like quality photos, but don't want to carry around a bigger camera (plus lens, which means you need a pouch or backpack).

Great camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.one of the best point and shoots out there! My wife loves it but it was really pricey at 1000$. If you are an avid photographer with cash to spend Id recommend it. It also does 4k videos but it drains the battery quick and you need higher spec memory card to use it.

Great Camera for Pictures AND Videos!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this camera to have better quality videos for youtube. After just playing with it for a couple of days I decided to take up photography as a hobby. I've had it for a few months now and have made many videos and taken many pictures with it. The quality is amazing compared to just using my iPhone previously. Very pleased with it!

Hands down the best pocket size camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's RX100's latest development. from its size, this camera has the best function packed. Hands down the best compact camera. This camera is truly better choice than the beginner's DSLR in my opinion.

Excellent pocket camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a camera that can easily fit in your pocket, even tight jeans, you cannot do better! Amazing photo and video quality for its size. I do wish the 4K video wasn't limited to 5 minutes and that you didn't have to wait a bit for it to cool down before recording again. That knocks it down to 3 stars.

Best Camera I've ever had
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My goal with this purchase was to lighten my travel load without sacrificing photo quality. Previously I was lugging around my Canon Rebel Ti5 with lenses and my video camera. With this little guy I have it down to a cute little camera bag or my waist pouch. I want it handy all the time to catch my grandkids adorability. It is a little complicated to use. I've gone back to Best Buy 3 times to have them help me figure things out. Once the Sony rep was there and it took him more than a few minutes to come up with the answer. But I count on Best Buy for that and have not been disappointed. I wish Sony provided a printed manual..did not. I just tried the slow motion...it's very cool but a little clumsy to use at first. I haven't reviewed the slow motion videos on the computer screen yet, for quality. It's a bit tricky to keep the video steady. Video audio is okay. Otherwise, the screen images are truly amazing. Logistically, I don't like that the on/off button is very close to the shutter button. I'm still in the phase of trying everything, but feel confident in saying that this is a camera that will please.

Probably the best point-and-shoot you can get
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera offers features that would rival an entry-level DSLR camera or mirrorless. This is perhaps the best point-and-shoot you can buy. It is a bit expensive, so even an entry-level DSLR or mirrorless will be cheaper, but this one easily fits in your pocket, offers 12-bit RAW support, and does 4K video shooting plus it has a EVF (electronic view finder, which DSLR users will like). I only wish it had an external hot-shoe flash mount, and that the lens would support apertures beyond f/11. But other than that, it's worth the money. DSLRs (in my opinion) will still remain king for the near future, but if you want something you can pocket easily and take anywhere, this is it. The price is a bit to swallow, but after using it, I'm sure you won't mind after you see what this little camera can do. I would have also like to see a second/dual SD card slots, or perhaps microSD card slots.

An excellent side kick to my DSLR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The purchase of the Sony cyber shot RX 100 mark IV as a side kick to my Canon 5d mk2 for my Grand Canyon and Las Vegas trip proved to be an excellent Combination for me. The size and quality of the camera allowed me to keep my DSLR back at the hotel during my stay in Vegas. It is an excellent walk around camera fit for street photography and the 4K video is fantastic. The videos and the photo shots of the Grand Canyon came out very well. The 24-70 reach of the Sony along with the 70-200 lens in my canon 5D mk2 probed to be a great combo and I didn't have to bother changing lens in my DSLR :) . Overall very happy with the Sony RX 100 mk4 camera.

Good little camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good little camera, it is a bit soft at high ISO/open aperture but very pocketable. Great picture at good-to-average light as long as ISO below 6400 and not fully open aperture. I also own Nikon D700 and it is obviously no replacement for DSLR but a rather good companion when bulk is too cumbersome.

Excellent camera for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking at this camera exclusively for its slow motion features which I was comparing to our Sony FS700 camera. Overall the image quality was fantastic and I was very pleased.

Great pocket camera!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the RX100 IV is an expensive camera, the premium price does guarantee you a great investment due to the following, 1) Small form factor 2) Build quality 3) Picture quality 4) OLED Viewfinder 5) Tilting Screen This camera is what I would consider portable DSLR quality (or near quality). As far as my experience in using this device, there are three flaws I have noticed thus far, 1) No touchscreen 2) 4K limited to 5 minutes 3) Greater zoom range

It's a pocket experience worth the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera's first outing was in Rome Italy where it instantly became a superstar. I'm a Canon body L lens kinda guy but Sony's RX100 IV WOW.

Good performance But be careful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used it during my trip to Tahiti, it works great and its small that you can take it everywhere. Be careful in the sand, I got one small pebble into the camera and it stopped it for a while until I was able to dislodge it. I think it is still inside the camera, but the motor is functioning.
