Then I found out you could actually take selfies LOL! And also download an app on your phone to transfer your pictures from the camera to your phone (then to my computer) AMAZING!!!

This camera takes really great photos and is fantastic for bringing on vacations. Great if you are not a serious photographer and want better pictures than a smartphone.

I didn't get a chance to use it before going on a three week dive trip & took my old camera along just in case. I didn't need to worry as this camera took exceptional photos & video! Super happy with it.

Fortunately, I've had no issues and the camera works perfectly. This is definitely the best portable point and shoot available today!

I played around with the "average user setting" and took some beautiful pictures of rose blooms. the macro and aperture priority as well as the full auto produced gorgeous images. i love it and would recommend this to anyone of any skill level.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a wonderful camera (I've bought several earlier versions of the RX100), though on this version I have repeatedly discovered traces of oil on the retractable lens barrel, as well as quite a bit of noise when the lens is retracted or zoomed out. This is a great compact camera, but be sure to get a good copy!

It lasted a about a week and one day I took it out of my backpack it won't turn on. Battery was full but the camera was dead completely. When I came back to the US and went to Best Buy and they wouldn't exchange it because it had past 14 days (still less than a month since the purchase). I asked to talk to a manager and she offered no advise and looked straight into my my eyes and acted like she just didn't care. Worst customer service I ever got.
