The Sony Cyber-shot Rx100 20.1-megapixel Digital Camera is a great small camera with many manual controls and solid image quality. A good choice for when you dont want to take your full DSLR setup.

The camera that takes the thinking out of taking photos. The camera has amazing options and allows you the opportunity to take photos like a pro.

I was disappointed to see a pamphlet at the top of the box - an official note from Sony regarding the overheat issue. I had read the reviews and still wanted to try this camera. But how can Sony acknowledge and still sell this camera when it has an obvious defect. I took this to the beach in May 2016, it was not hot - maybe high 70's. On my first record, it overheated after 3 1/2 minutes. Took 2 hours indoors to recover. I tried several other times - all overheated. Fortunately I also took a Panasonic FZ1000 - which has no overheat issues whatsoever and records excellent 100mb 4k footage. Bottom line - if you want this camera for 4k and are in an area where it will reach high 70's (everywhere) -- get something else, I'd recommend checking out the FZ1000. The pictures were very nice - but not enough to overlook the overheat issue.

Excellent picture quality. Has many cool features. Downloading of apps from the Sony website is fast and simple. My only complaint is the complexity of the Sony menu system.

Nothing else this good is this small. Almost too small and a bit slippery, but all the RX100 models (I, II, III, and IV) take fabulous photos. III and IV have the neat pop up EVF.

Best pocket camera I ever owned! Great for vlogging! The picture quality is great as well.

Great little camera!!! As powerful as a DSLR but half the size. Only difference is that you can't change the lenses.

It is handy and got pretty clear pics, it is a good substitute for a SLR when going outside

This camera has tons of features, it's going to take me a long time to learn how to use them all. I can't wait to try some of the apps that you can add to this camera. A little more zoom would be nice, however, the digital zoom works fine. The phone remote is pretty cool, a real nice feature.I bought the M4 because the added cost of an M5 with the added features that I probably would never use didn't seem worth it.

Photos rival my SLR with reasonable available light. In-camera HDR is the best available.

I bought this camera to have a small camera to take to Disney. The pics were beautiful and clear. The auto focus was one of the best I used. The only real downfall was the lack of zoom. If you do not need to have much of a zoom I would say it's a great camera for you. Unfortunately in my line of work I need a better zoom.

This camera has incredible speed, the menu is not difficult to learn and battery life is decent. Photo transfer to Sony Play Memories Mobile is fast. I used this on a trip to Europe and it performed flawlessly. However, I expected a battery charger but only received a micro usb cable and adaptor so the battery is charged in the camera. I also purchased an additional grip which improved my ability to take pictures. No SD card was included. I recommend the screen protector as well.
