Bought this for vacation and certainly dont regret it. The extra reach at 200mm is very useful. Video is a bit cumbersome to use but if you are good with shooting manual you will be ok. 4k 30p, 1080 60p and 1080 240p is very handy. For vacation video. 4 stars because it has some minor drawbacks that youtube reviews cover.

This pocket-size super camera is a great supplement to my older, larger RX10. If I had gotten this first, I don't know that I would get an RX10 because this is so handy to carry around.

This is a good camera to bring to concerts and sporting events because of its small size and long focal length. I had to return it though as the menu system was a bit confusing and decided to stick with my other cameras. I do recommend this and the entire Sony RX line.

The SONY RX100 VI Cyber-shot camera wth it's new sharp 24mm to 200mm Zeiss telephoto lens is a small lightweight addition to the growing field in new camera equipment that shows, less can be more! The easy to use pop-up view finder, and multiple positional 2 3/8" by 1 3/4" screen make this one versital camera. You can also select to shoot raw as well as the standard jpeg images at the same time. The Sony soft-ware menues are extensive, and require some extra time to learn. A second battery and separate charger would be helpful as the camera seems to use a bit of power. The one inch optical sensor produces high quality images. Camera gets 4.8Stars

I am no professional photographer and this camera makes it easy to learn. You can literally carry it around anywhere you go. I plan on learning a lot on this camera.

The Sony RX100 VI provides excellent images for a portable camera. Nice back-up and convenient compared to a large body Nikon I use for more serious photography. Not recommended for indoor videography as the lens limits effectiveness in low light situations.

Great features especially the telephoto lens with manual/auto control and small size. I plan to use this as a back up to my full frame Canon and for my wife's use on our trips.

Good camera for traveling since it is so light. Like the touchscreen focus. That is the only available touchscreen feature. It is very hard to see the screen when it is bright outside. You can leave it on auto mode or try special effects with all the available modes!

Out of the box easy to start using and can explore advanced features. Enjoying the learning of this camera. Menu is easy and I like the button control layout.

Everything performed as promised. Vacation shots were exceptional. Battery does wear down after a day of shooting but not a problem with a spare.

Normally use a DSLR camera but wanted an "above average" camera for travel and situations where my other camera was too bulky or inaccessible. I have had a number of other pocket cameras and was always disappointed in picture quality. This camera is easy to use and the picture quality is excellent even in low light situations. Worked perfectly for me.

I previously owned an RX100 V, and ended up selling it on eBay because I always wished I had more zoom. I’ve regretted selling that camera for a long time, until I saw the VI. Now I own the VI, and am always amazed at the quality of phots you can get out of such a small camera. I’ve been taking it everywhere with me. The zoom is a huge upgrade, and makes this camera so much more useful for family photos.

Unbelievably powerful camera in such a small package. Even the pictures taken in total auto mode are outstanding.

Took it with me to Yellowstone. The pictures were much better than my phone camera. Easy and great pictures.

Great camera but for the price you’d think it would have a jack for an external microphone. That is my only issue with this camera but overall it’s great for a basic point and shoot.
