I really love this camera! It was an investment piece but it takes great photos and it's great if you are new to photography. I didn't do a lot of reading on the instructions and still found it easy to use! Also love the ability to send photos to my phone.

Great pictures, sharp and bright. Electronic view finder is small but works well. Flash is very good and allows you to bounce the light. Size makes it a great pocket camera. We are going to Cuba and I just didn't feel like carrying my DSLR.

I am loving this camera. The zoom is great and takes great "fast" pictures. One thing I have not been able to test yet is low light areas, such as museums. This was a big reason I bought this camera, so I am anxious to test that out. But, I am very happy with the camera overall, and am still learning all the settings!

If you are looking for the BEST pocket camera, this is your choice. Small, yet packed with great sony power, the Sony RXIII will give you great pictures even if used with their auto-modes.

Great camera in a small package. Excellent feature-set. Minus 1 star because ability to transfer files via the app is not well executed. Newer versions are probably better.

I purchased the first generation when it came out. It was time to upgrade and I was wondering if I should put down the money for the IV or V, but decided to grab the III and try it out. I'm happy with my decision and the money I saved. The optical view finder is great in bright light situations like outdoors and being able to use the wifi is a time saver. The other noticeable difference is the selfie option. Other than that, pictures are comparable. So if you don't care about any of the aforementioned upgrades I noted above, then I suggest you grab the original before they discontinue it and save some money.

The small size, great lens and pop-up viewfinder make this camera one I can carry all of the time and use anywhere. So far I have been very pleased with the pictures.
