Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have some moderate hearing loss and after reading about the Sony CRE-C10 decided to try it. My immediate thoughts were “wow, this might work”. After trying them for several weeks I decided that they would not work for me. Setup initially is fairly easy but the fine tuning did not allow for an acceptable hearing improvement. My take away is that they amplify all sounds and there is no way to balance between loud and noisy environments vs quieter settings. I found that in quiet settings they worked reasonably well but in noisy settings everything was just loud and overwhelming making it difficult to hear anything clearly. The phone app for adjustments worked ok but the high pitched (humans can’t hear) communication tone given off by the phone to the hearing aid could be heard by one of my dogs and caused very negative anxious behavior! Customer service was top notch when I reached out to them and the devices seem well made and fit with the right sleeve was good and comfortable in my ears. All in all I consider the Sony CRE-C10 an unacceptable hearing aid as it just does not deliver a quality hearing improvement for me.

I spent a couple of days getting used to and tweaking the setup, and the app took some practice, but I am very pleased. Another positive, most people have no idea I’m wearing hearing aids. Their design fits snug into the ear and again, with practice, are very easy to insert.

Upon trying they fit in ears really well and are comfortable. But the APP wouldnt connect to HA even though i have android OS13. No matter what coudnt set it up . Dint have much hopes anyway since i have severe-profound hearing loss.

After downloading the sony app, it was easy too tune them in. They do what they're supposed to. I had miracle before these at 3 times the cost and sony wins hands down.

Registration system broken actually has a pdf in the app that tells you wxactly that. The issue is in tegards to excepting TOS and errors. Tried on iphone 13promax, 12 pro max, and 12.9 ipad all failed registration steps. Once achieved could not authenticate till next day. Then the hearing aids alghough on we could not change any settings until hearing profile setup after nearly ten failed attempts i returned these. As a former technician of the deathstar (google it) im good with technology I fpr the life of me do not know how elderly can achieve success as this purchase and setup was for my eighty year old mother. Maybe next time Sony. please do better.

The Geek Squad has been helpful because the hearing aids are run by my Google 7 phone. All had to be coordinated which is what your people do well! Mary

Not good for me

In a loud restaurant or loud store like a sam's club they amplify everything and you can not hear people speaking well or at all. I tried them for 10 days and could not use outside of home. If you only are using them to amplify tv and people in your house they may work for you. I ended up buying the eargo 7 and they are night and day better. There is zero comparison between the eargo 7 and Sony. The eargo 7 quiets the noise you do not want to hear and amplifies what matters like people speaking.
