I am very happy with it. Easy to use and great results. Picture quality is good even in full zoom.

I went into the store with the mind set of buying a new camera. When I got to the camera section, there were so many different types. After spending about an hour or so, I found this one! I looked at the different specs in store and finally decided to purchase this one. I am so glad I did. This camera is what I wanted and more. The optical zoom is perfect and it takes outstanding pictures! If you are in the market for a new camera please consider purchasing this one, I promise you will not be disappointed.

I really like the camera but just wish it had a charger instead of using batteries.

I used it on my trip to South America, and it definitely was durable. The pictures were pretty good for the price point, so remember what you're paying for it, if you are a picky person, definitely go for something more, but recommended if you want value!

Good starteer camera for videography. Sound is good and video is clear and crisp, wouldn’t recommend the camera so much for photos, as you can’t control many settings to get professional looking photos. If your wanting to get your feet wet in videography this camera is easy for you !

Bought this when I forgot to take a camera on a trip. The zoom and quality of images when using the zoom is outstanding. First Sony camera I have owned and this is very quick to get used to and produces great results capable of large prints with good quality. Not especially compact but well worth the money

My husband likes cameras with lenses. This was perfect for him and the number of pixels really provides great pictures. Easy to operate.

I bought this for my 15 year old daughter for her birthday. She is interested in getting into photography & is taking pictures of landscapes & her animals for the 4G program. This is a nice easy beginner camera with a great price. The fact that there was an open box camera made the purchase even nicer.

Pretty good camera for the price, not a cheap digital that just gets the job done. This has some really nice features and takes crisp pictures. You actually want to reduce the pixels for the majority of your shots. No need to have it so high for most of them and it will save memory space.

We own a Furniture Gallery and this has been great for that easy quick, but quality shot we need for our on-line postings!! Wish it had better battery door :~( But overall, we love it !

This camera is perfect for anyone who is looking for a step up from a small digital camera, but still does not have a lot of extensive knowledge about camera use. The controls are easy to use and the zoom is perfect for far-away shots. The camera contains many functions for different settings that are both easy to use and understand for someone interested in nicer pictures than a small digital camera can give you.

This camera provides wonderful flexibility, high-quality photos, a 35x zoom and good, balanced handling all at a very reasonable price. I hike a lot. I use it primarily in macro mode, and I mount it on a walking stick (read 'monopod'). It has given me wonderful wildflower photos from the very first. I'm often in rough terrain, so I frequently shut the camera down between brief bursts of photographing in order to protect the lens. Because of that I use a lot of battery power. But a battery change in the field is easy for this camera; you can do it one-handed. Even with all the "on-off-on-off" I still get almost 200 photos from a set of fully charged NiM-hydride batteries. I love it.

This camera takes good photos but eats up battery like crazy. We ran out completely after taking less than 50 shots, so thought batteries that came with the camera might not be the best ones but replacing them with my own brand name battery did not fare any better. You must carry extra batteries each time you intend to use the camera which is a pain.

After looking at several camera's for my grandsons 7th birthday i chose this Sony because of it's ease of use and the functionality. Now he can go out with his mom and take pictures. Mom & grandson loved it. :)

i found this camera easy to use right from the box. it takes great pics. the only reason i did not give 5 stars is that there are so many features, it will take me a while to get the max use of the camera. hey but the more features the better, right. also my previous, smaller cameras came re-charge-able. this takes 4 AA batteries. so i guess i'll get some recharge-ables.

Very good camera, looks and feels like a real professional camera instead of regular point-and-shoot. Good controls, picture quality with Sony is good. Only downside for me, AA batteries. I would have liked to have rechargeable Lithium batteries. Upside, you can buy batteries off the shelves and put them in case you run out of power, no need to keep remembering to charge

I purchased this for my daughter who is taking photography in school. It was a great price for a camera for a beginner and very easy to use.

I like the camera it has a great lens and is easy to operate the zoom!

I love how easy this camera is to use! The pictures are so clear!
